  Room was fine. Hotel getting a little outdated. My main concern is the hygiene of the staff serving breakfast. Bagels were individually wrapped while sandwich bread was not. The lady working the breakfast area added bread slices to the container bare-handed and then was overheard sneezing in the prep space. Absolutely disgusting and unsanitary.

  Room was very clean, bed was sooo comfy! Nice quiet area. There was a $5 amenity fee. Not sure exactly what that was for. Breakfast was great!

  Tried booking a room late last night for my mother who was delayed in Chicago and was flying in the Saginaw before heading home. Due to her being delayed we were goign to get her a room so she didn't have to drive over 3 hours home at 2am. Tried calling the hotel directly and go no answer. I ended up calling IHG directly and talked to someone who booked her a room at 11:46 pm Central time. I thanked them and sent the info before she took off. Thankfully I just happen to see an email at 12:36 AM Central pop up before going to bed and they, the hotel, canceled the reservation. I tried calling and no answer. After getting ahold if IHG here is the text exchange from them: "Thanks, I completely understand your concern, and I'm sorry for the confusion this cancellation has caused. I can see that the reservation was canceled by the hotel. While I don't have visibility into the specific reason for the cancellation, here's what I can do to help: I will make sure your concern is communicated and forwarded to our upper hotel management team so that it can be reviewed and addressed. I've also opened a case to ensure this issue is properly documented. Could you please share the best callback number or email address where the hotel team can reach you with updates? The hotel team will be in the best position to review the cancellation details and provide further clarification. I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and frustration this has caused. Thank you for your patience and understanding." "Thanks! I've already forwarded your concern to our hotel, and they've been alerted in real time to ensure this is addressed as soon as possible. Please know that I'm taking this seriously, rest assured that it's being handled with priority. You can also keep this case number (case number deleted) in reference this conversation." "I did contact the hotel, and they advised that the reservation was canceled because the property was overbooked. They also confirmed that the cancellation was processed with a refund. I completely understand how frustrating and disappointing this must be, especially when your reservation was canceled unexpectedly. While the hotel has confirmed that a refund was issued, I want to make sure your concerns are properly reviewed. To help with that, I will ensure this matter is forwarded to our upper hotel management team for further review and documentation. I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this situation has caused and appreciate your patience and understanding." So after all of that no room and but they can someone how talk to the IGH support poeople but not reach out directly to say the room was canceled.

  Every single employee was friendly and kind and made us feel so welcomed! We especially love Mike in the kitchen! What a joy he was to have and visit with first thing in the morning. Thank you, Mike for taking such good care of us!
