My husband and I enjoy the Even hotels for the amenities and the comfortability of the beds. The hotel staff was not incredibly friendly or hospitable and that's why I've given 4 stars instead of 5. While the rooms were very clean and comfortable, I prefer when front desk staff is welcoming.

A special appreciation to Kyle at EVEN Hotel Ann Arbor for his exceptional hospitality! His genuine care, attentiveness, and thoughtful follow-up throughout my stay truly made a difference. Kyle goes above and beyond, not just because it’s his job, but because he genuinely cares. His kindness comes from the heart, making him a true icon of hospitality and a wonderful asset to EVEN Hotel. Thank you, Kyle, for making my stay so memorable!

Just wanted to share that the bartender/ cook/ waitress Madison was a true delight. She served drinks cooked food and served us our food all by herself. Just wanted to give her a shout out and a well-deserved thank you for your wonderful prompt service. Much appreciated miss.

This was a hard review to leave because this is clearly an old hotel that was remodeled, and is quite clean, but there are multiple issues with the rooms themselves. My room was by the highway, and the wall might as well have been missing, because I could hear every car drive-by all night long. The climate control is a wall unit and it was very humid when I was in Ann Arbor. This meant that when I turned it on, it would cool the room down but by the time I woke up in the morning, the temperature would be in the low 70s with high humidity. I also am not fond of staying at a place that doesn’t have at least some free water in the room particularly because I was being charged $300 a night as they were doing surge pricing for a room that should cost $100 a night. If you are large person, you may have trouble fitting into the shower, which was a retrofit of a very small bathtub and a shower that is so narrow that I could barely stand facing the showerhead without my shoulders, touching the shower door and the opposite wall. There were a lot of other minor issues that were probably me being more particular such as the streaming service being finicky and their putting of a very heavy table right by the exercise bands so that they would be impossible to use without moving the table - and this was a table that way easily over 75lbs. I would not stay here again if only because the room was too loud to sleep in and the air unit stopped working once it presumably froze up.

A great value for our stay. Approximately a 2 mile walk to the stadium and quicker than an Uber leaving the game. Rooms were large and the public areas were plentiful with various options to sit & visit. Fresh towels and room service every day was a +. They offered a full service bar with liquors, beer & wine. There was a small kitchen serving a selection of easy to serve food items and a take & go area. There was a large contingent of fans at the hotel vs the OU/Michigan game. Maddie was our bartender/server in the evening during our stay. I must say she was the highlight of our hotel stay and was a great ambassador of the Even hotel. We spent most of our evenings at the hotel, because of her enthusiasm in serving and gracious attitude towards the many fans that were gathered together. 10 stars for Maddie and we wish her well in her graduate program.
