This location was not like the other BW we have stayed. I should have not assumed, but breakfast is not included in your room. There is a $5.00 fee per person. The buffet breakfast offered several options. The fresh fruit was a little past it though. We ate at Mugly’s restaurant (which is where breakfast is served) for dinner because it was convenient. There was a nice variety of options. I was not allowed to order a child’s meal. There were no senior options. The area that the hotel was located is right next to the interstate and noisy. It is also heavily industrial. I believe it was some sort of chain (maybe a Ramada) previous to the BW taking over. The decor is very interestingly retro, but nice. The room was clean and was adequate for our overnight needs.

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. In my opinion it has a very classic classy feel to it. The location is a little odd, between the highway and railroad tracks, but the building is very quiet. I didn't use the pool, but it's indoor and one of the largest pools I've seen at a hotel of this value. The in house restaurant is very nice and the food was very good and reasonable. If I were to repeat a visit to the Detroit area I would definitely stay there again.

Very nice hotel located at less tan 10 minutes from the Henry Ford Museum. Clean rooms and comfortable beds. A good size swimming pool and a sauna and some outside areas for relaxing. For breakfast I recommend a restaurant that's 5 minutes away called First Watch...good and cozy

The hotel is very well maintained. Staff is always visible and cleaning. Highly suggest purchasing the breakfast buffet upgrade well worth the $5 each Only giving four stars because the last night our CO detector started sounding off and we assumed it was due to an expired battery. Call the front desk ask for a new battery. I was told they didn’t have any. The more we thought about it the more concerned we got that maybe there was carbon monoxide in the room.So we came up with the idea if they could give us another carbon monoxide detector from another room to test it out in our room once again the response for the lady at the front desk was I can’t reach the carbon dioxide detectors, which this response made me laugh. Long story short I finally got her to come up. I took both the carbon monoxide detectors off the walls, myself at 3 AM in the morning she then took the beeping carbon monoxide detector left in the room across the hall as the beep echo down the hallway all night long. Not exactly sure why she didn’t take it with her downstairs now the whole floor got to hear the beeping because she left it right next to the rooms door. 🤔 I work in the service industry, customers can be difficult but the incorrect answer to give is “there’s no way we can help you.” But I would stay here again and still recommend this hotel.

I spent the better part of nine weeks staying at this Best Western while I was away for work, so I got to experience it as more than just a weekend guest. Overall, it's a clean, quiet hotel that's comfortable and well maintained. It's not a luxury property, but it does a good job of being exactly what it needs to be. The rooms were consistently clean, the common areas were kept up nicely, and I never had any issues during my stay. The front desk staff deserves a special mention—they were always friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout my entire stay. That level of consistency over nine weeks says a lot. The hotel offers a breakfast buffet for $5, which is well worth it. There's a nice variety of hot and cold options, along with cereal, coffee, juice, pastries, and other breakfast staples. It's a solid value and made mornings easy before work. The courtyard is one of the nicest features of the property, with multiple gazebos, outdoor seating, grills, and landscaped areas that make it a relaxing place to unwind in the evening. The fitness center is adequate for getting in a light workout, and the pool is clean and well maintained. Just be aware that it frequently hosts kids' birthday parties, so it can get pretty busy depending on the time of day. I also appreciated the little conveniences like vending and ice machines on every floor, plus a small snack shop where you can charge drinks, chips, ice cream, and other items directly to your room. After living here for over two months, I'd absolutely stay again. It's not flashy, but it's clean, comfortable, reasonably priced, and staffed by genuinely good people—which goes a long way when you're away from home for an extended period. There is an inhouse restaurant Muglies which has surprisingly affordable meals. And everything I tried, there was pretty good. I'd recommend the burgers and the chicken strip dinner.
