  This is an older, smaller building that could be better kept. Location was excellent- within 30 min of Michigan Speedway and many chain dining options. Due to building design, people walking on floor above could be heard - they were not loud, it was building design. Liked the blackout window blinds and desk area for working. Rooms were fairly clean; bathroom had significant water damage to wall next to shower that needed to be repaired. The cleaning lady helped us swap out towels instead of doing a full cleaning (appreciated that!) Breakfast seating area is super small- wound up taking food back to room to eat.

  I've stayed at this hotel in the past, several years ago. The facility has taken a noticeable step down since then with many overlooked details indicating a lack of attention to maintenance and housekeeping. These include: bathroom sink fixtures that were very loose, toilet paper holder was also loose, shower valve was difficult to adjust, no bath mat towels available, most/all USB ports broken, guest laundry dryers incorrectly vented grossly protracting drying time, very loud A/C unit, lack of timly public space cleaning ... noticed fingerprints remained during my multi-day stay on interior elevator surfaces. Staff members were super friendly and helpful but seemed untrained or unaware of certain basic hotel management skills.

  I came in due to an emergency situation on Sunday 4/26 and Jen at the front desk was so kind and helpful! She really calmed my nerves in a stressful time!
