  Good for a 2-star but needs refurbishment for the price. Stayed in a double suite which was roomy enough and had comfortable beds but sofabed needs new mattress and to be cleaned (almost as if they don't expect the sofabed to be used). Breakfast was adequate for star rating but could be quite crowded in the access area - rethink configuration on where things are located esp corner where hot food is served. Bathroom and room smelled damp - again needs refurbishment and reconfiguration to move sink into the bathroom and change old small bathtub to a shower (don't book here if you want a spotless bathroom). Towels and beds not made or changed everyday - cleaning needs improvement. Staff are really kind but just seems totally understaffed, and the staff have to make up for the lack of investment into the building.

  Very nice room, quiet spot because it’s far enough away from downtown Portland. But also a 10 minute drive so you’re still close!

  Great location close to Target and other restaurants and stores. AC was loud, and smelled like dog. Even heard dogs on the floor in other rooms barking.

  Our new favorite hotel in the area. We stay in a double and it's a fair size for our family of 4. The rooms are always very clean, with the exception of the bathtubs. Every time it seems like there's mildew/mold and you can smell that they are using dirty mops or rags. That's the only complaint. Every single person we have interacted with was so pleasant. Breakfast is run smoothly and is pretty plentiful with the gentleman in charge of it being the nicest of all staff member. We haven't used the couch as a pullout yet, but as a hotel couch we don't have any complaints. It's really nice to have a sitting area separate from the beds. The pool is a bit small but my child enjoyed it and said the water was warm. It seems like they use the correct amount of chemicals compared to other hotels which is what they were most excited about. When traveling with kids, being able to do laundry is a blessing. There are 2 washers and 2 dryers, they are all $2 and take quarters. Because of meetings or work, the opportunity for a late checkout as a member is the most appreciated perk. We'll definitely be back a few more times before the summer is over.
