- NMNader MJul 4, 20265.0My wife and I stayed at Yachtsman Hotel & Marina Club for four nights, and overall we had a wonderful experience. The location is hard to beat, and our room offered an incredible view of the river and the marina. Waking up to that view every morning was definitely one of the highlights of our stay. That said, for a room that costs around $700 per night, I expected a bit more attention to detail. The galley area was consistently too warm and stuffy and could have been much better ventilated or air-conditioned. The complimentary bottled water was not replenished frequently enough and was often gone by late afternoon. The TV also had ongoing Wi-Fi connectivity issues—it repeatedly lost its connection, and the only way to restore it was to unplug the TV and plug it back in. In addition, the towels were noticeably frayed and worn, which felt out of place at a property in this price range. These are relatively minor issues, but they stand out because the hotel sets such a high standard in so many other areas. The beautiful waterfront setting, comfortable accommodations, and overall atmosphere made for a very enjoyable stay. Overall, I would gladly recommend Yachtsman Hotel & Marina Club to others and would certainly consider staying there again. With a little more attention to these details, the experience would easily match the premium price.

I unknowingly booked the "April Fool's Day Sale" (can't make this up) and when I went to cancel due to changes in my schedule, they would not refund me or move the day for me. Poor customer service through hidden policies, not a good look!
