My family has visited this campground multiple times over the past few years. The location is stunning, with excellent amenities, engaging activities, and a beautiful lakefront. There is so much to enjoy. However, I am compelled to rate it two stars due to safety concerns. The gulf karts are extremely fast and reckless, making it unsafe to walk, bike, or walk dogs nearby, especially with children. The rules are not enforced for seasonals, who seem to feel they own the area, while other visitors appear to be an inconvenience. After attending an excellent dance event in the evening, my children and I were on our bikes with lights when a security guard stopped us, explaining that cycling was not permitted at night due to safety risks posed by the gulf kart drivers—many of whom are reportedly intoxicated. His concerns are valid, but it highlights a significant safety issue at the campground.

Place has changed since we were here over 20 years ago. Seems not to have as many kids activities as in the past. But what I don't understand, we checked in and my husband decided to get a golf cart because I walk with a cane, I was not informed about a handicap parking sticker until I was picked up off the ground the other night. My husband is going to kill me for putting this up, but I hurt so much I don't want to do anything anymore and this was now a big waste of money.

It's a great place overall, pending the cabin type you rent / get the lodging amenities are good (not great), but you're here for the beach and other things this place does well.

We are just returning from our first stay at Point Sebago and what a wonderful time!! The staff was so pleasant, the tiny house was amazing and fully stocked with everything we needed. The grounds were awesome. There was so much to do. My daughter caught her first fish we played by the beach, the kids made new friends and enjoyed nights by a fire. Our family made so many memories. It was close to Maine Wildlife Park too! I feel like we had 3 days at a family summer camp and it was just amazing. Can’t wait to come back!

Point Sebago Resort is conveniently located on the shore of Sebago Lake. I stayed in a container cabin, Star Gazer. The container was quaint. It was surrounded by other types of campers, etc. but the site still fell private. It had two seats at a fire pit as well as a rooftop deck with two lounge chairs.
Being a private resort, it has a staffed entrance, which I see as a positive. There are too many amenities to mention. I frequented the gift shop (General Store) each day. No need to drive if you forgot something, or just want to grab something.
It has a private beach and golf cart rentals for use within the resort. I would stay at Point Sebago again, for sure.
