  Hotels must be changing. We stayed 3 nights and no one came at any time to clean rooms, make beds ECT. This was a handicap accessible room where everything was accommodating except the shower. It is not a roll in shower and extremely small for anyone to take a shower. Tiny bottles of shampoo that would last maybe one shower. Bar soap (1) for three nights. Very disappointing.

  This is the best Best Western we've stayed in. We had the family suite and it was spacious. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. By far, the most impressive feature of this hotel are the staff. Due to my mistake, we had to transfer to another room for one night. The staff were so helpful in getting us into the room quickly. Jordan, the gentleman behind the counter, even jumped in and helped clean the room for! Later that evening, one of the staff members returned a pair of glasses that my daughter had left in the old room unbeknownst to us. All in all, the staff and service here are better than the luxury hotels we've stayed in before. They really go above and beyond for their guests. Thank you!

  Although the grounds were immaculatey groomed, the rooms were not in move-in ready condition. The rooms had excess humidity, so bed linens, towels, and our clothes in or out of the suitcase felt damp. The rooms were not ready for an hour after the check-in time of 4pm. Even though the rooms supposedly had to be inspected before being released, our shower dispensers of shampoo were empty, and there was hair on the bathroom floor and trash under one of the chairs. No housekeeping was provided unless scheduled a day ahead. If new towels were requested, the dirty towels were picked up, but we had to retrieve replacement towels from the front desk. Breakfast and breakfast staff were delightful. There was no common area available to gather in case of inclement weather. A room receipt containing our personal information was given to someone who claimed that they were checking out of one of our rooms. The front desk was adamant that they had already checked out of our room and that they had given our receipt to a perfect stranger and didn't understand the repercussions of releasing our personal info (name, address, phone, last 4 digits of cc number) to a stranger. Ours was a 6 night stay with 2 rooms

  Stopped here on an impromptu trip up the coast with no hotel reservation made prior to arrival in late June. The best shower we've had in a hotel in ages and restorative after a day hiking in the park. Room was sparkling clean, modern floors/no rugs, comfortable beds and pillows, with microwave, fridge, great bath products and lovely quiet grounds.

  Our room was a good size (king bed) which accommodated our hiking gear and varied-temperature clothing and clean when we arrived. Everything worked and the breakfast was outstanding. Walter at the front desk was welcoming and helpful. Excellent location just outside of Bar Harbor (10 minute drive to the center) and Acadia National Park and an easy drive to the "Quiet-side" of the Park as well.
