  I did this review on the IHG survey as requested based on a recent stay. I came to spend time with my grandkids and booked a hotel with the indoor pool for them to swim. The pool was not maintained properly. It was murky, and the kids only spent approximately 15 minutes in it. No chlorine smell. No washcloths in the room. When I asked the front desk for washcloths, I was advised that the laundry staff did not wash them that day. I was told by the front desk that they would check empty rooms to locate some. That didn’t happen. I went out and bought some for us to use. Lamps in the room did not work. Breakfast was very limited. Pancake machine did not work, which was upsetting to my grandchildren. No fresh rolls. No pork sausages. I am a IHG member but I was very disappointed. I was even more disappointed at the response I got, as listed below. No mention of any type of refund or compensation, just sorry. I’m sorry I spent my money. 😞 Response from IHG Waldorf Hi Grams, Thank you for sharing your feedback.   Check in was great. We got to our room and it reeked of dog urine. We didn't have it in us after a long travel day to switch rooms so we stayed. The parking lot was pitch black, no lights at all. We just needed a place to sleep. The room was dirty in some spots. We will choose another hotel in the future.

  We arrived at dark to the parking lot lights not on. The room was barely cleaned, water was light brown, WiFi didn’t work in the room (340), didn’t have extra towels to give, rude front desk agents, and overcharged card but forgot to take “actual payment” for the room. I’m glad we only had to spend one night here. I don’t recommend this place.

  Everyone at the front desk was pleasant with an easy check in. Rooms and beds were nice and comfy. Myself and my fiance had a very nice time. This is our second time staying there we enjoyed both times.

  Its still hot out but the ac in here is either too cold on on, or gets too hot on auto. Im only saying this because this is the second time I've stayed here and just and fyi. I don't really care for the design of the rooms either.
