  We have stayed here since 2020 and part of the reason we stay there is for access to the pools. However, stopped (or maybe never did?) enforcing the wristbands (that hotel guests get on check-in and therefore gives access to the pools), so A LOT of outsiders come to pools which makes it overcrowded and not fun.

  The best hotel in Ocean City in my opinion.The front staff greeted me with a smile and put me in my favorite room I wanted.My wife and I have been coming to this hotel for the last five years for spring and fall. From the front desk staff to the housekeeping staff I always was greeted with a smile and was there anything they could help me with. The hotel is in best location on the boardwalk right in the middle. You can go up the boardwalk very quite and not a lot people.The Coral Reef restaurant inside the hotel has great service and good food.If you want to go down the boardwalk lots of restaurants in walking distance. The room was super clean and spacious with the best view of the ocean boardwalk and downtown Ocean City.The best hotel staff and location. I highly recommend this great hotel.

  My husband & I use this Holiday Inn for the weekend of Cruising Ocean City Car Show (April 30-May 03) for the last 16yrs & wouldn’t change it for the world. Very clean rooms, customer service is always friendly & great view from the room as we always get the boardwalk side so if I stay behind for the 8am car parade on the boardwalk I can still see it from the room plus I have ocean view. Just a pleasure to be there.

  The room was nice and spacious. Great location, right on the beach, half way on the strip between north and south. Traffic decent in the area.

  The hotel itself was great. The room was clean, comfortable, and overall the property was well maintained. Unfortunately, the staff experience was very disappointing. My children got stuck in the elevator for more than 20 minutes. During that time we asked a staff member named Brian for help. He told us he had never dealt with a situation like that before and was unsure how to handle it. He offered no reassurance or guidance during a very stressful moment. We ultimately had to call the fire department ourselves to get assistance. While we were waiting for help to arrive and for my children to be removed from the elevator, Brian was walking around laughing and talking as if nothing had happened, despite knowing that my children were stuck. There was no empathy, sympathy, or effort to reassure us during the situation. The hotel itself was nice, but the way this situation was handled by staff left a very negative impression.
