    Would give zero stars if it was possible. Booked a room for the holiday weekend here. My family and I arrived a little early for our check in to be told they cancelled my reservation and they had no rooms. That my card “declined” and they tried to process it many times. I checked and my card was charged 4 times for $400 then the fifth time it was declined. Then my room was cancelled the woman told me it’s not her problem and she can’t do anything about it. I spend thousands of dollars a year for IHG hotels for work. Along with others that travel with me. I can promise no IHG hotels will ever get my business again.

    A few minor details/things to fix or upgrade. The shower curtain rod was loose, and the towel rack wasn't super stable either. There was a spot by the tub that has some water damage where the paint is peeling. We only had three pillows for the one bed, and only two sets of towels, so we needed to grab another set (there were three of us). Overall, a great location and a great price. The pool was great for a rainy evening. Every staff member we met was kind and helpful.

    This was one of the worst hotel stays I’ve ever experienced. The biggest issue was the mold. It appeared to be everywhere. The AC vents seemed to be blowing mold into the room, there was mold on the carpet, and there was visible mold on the bathroom ceiling due to poor ventilation and air circulation. The air quality was so bad that I started experiencing respiratory issues during my stay. At one point, I genuinely considered going to urgent care because of how difficult it became to breathe comfortably and due to me becoming very congested when being in the room. Beyond the mold problem, the room was extremely outdated and poorly maintained. The carpets looked old and worn, the furniture was beaten up and tired looking, and the overall condition of the room felt neglected. While the bathroom appeared somewhat newer, it wasn’t enough to make up for the rest of the room. The beds were mediocre at best. The pullout bed was completely flat and uncomfortable, and the main bed had stains that made it look unclean. The lighting throughout the room was very dim, and several lamps barely worked, making the space feel dark and uninviting. The hotel is pet friendly, which can be a nice feature, but there was pet hair throughout the carpet when I arrived. It looked like the room had not been thoroughly vacuumed or cleaned before check in, which was disappointing and frankly unsanitary. The only positive part of my stay was the staff. Everyone I interacted with was friendly and professional. Even though this hotel is only about a 10 minute drive from the Ocean City Boardwalk. That's not during peak hours, during peak hours it can take up to 40 minutes to get to the beach. I would STRONGLY RECOMMEND STAYING SOMEWHERE ELSE. The condition of the room, the cleanliness issues, and especially the mold problem made this a terrible experience. I would not stay here again and cannot recommend it to others.

    Had to change rooms the second day because the door key battery went dead, then the room we moved to had a broken AC. Put a big damper on our stay. They fixed everything, even put in a new AC, but it's kind of a pain when you feel like you have to complain every day just to be comfortable. We thought it was a bit pricey too.

    This hotel seems like a value, but you truly get what you pay for. Damaged bathroom fixtures, Moldy framed art, damaged furniture, every lamp with outlets were loose and there are no USB charging ports, very high bed, sheets were dirty, noisy AC unit in the hallway making it difficult to get sleep. The lowest toilet I have ever experienced and if you have bad knees impossible to get up from. Checked out after one night and went nextdoor to the Microtel which was a thousand times better. Breakfast was the only plus.
