  The guy at the front desk was nice. The location is great. I’ll take a star off for stains :(

  Room was ok. Lots of dust behind the furniture. Found medication on the floor( do they not vacuum?) Stains on the couch and seat. Breakfast was a decent variety, have had better but this was adequate.

  I stayed here a few days ago; the good thing was that the room was spacious and well-equipped, and the breakfast area was quite large and clean. Curiously, the bathroom seemed designed for people with special needs or those of short stature, as the sink and toilet were quite low (I’ve stayed in many hotels over the years, and this is the first time I’ve seen fixtures at that height). The beds were quite hard and uncomfortable, but what frustrated me the most was that both the bathtub and the sink were clogged, causing the water to pool; it was pretty gross seeing dirty water sitting there the whole time. If you’re wondering why I didn’t complain at the time: I was very tired, and I was checking out the next day.

  Nach 25 Jahren war ich das erste Mal wieder in Ocean City und war fast schon schockiert, wie groß dieser Ort geworden ist. Leider mittlerweile einer aneinander Quittung aller großen Hotelketten, aus dem Ort ein wenig Seele nimmt. Das best Western Hotel ist leider ganz schön in die Jahre gekommen, zum Beispiel der Teppich auf dem Hotel Fluren alles andere als einladen… Man könnte fast schon eklig sagen. Die Schlafzimmer sind einigermaßen in Ordnung, jedoch im Vergleich zu anderen amerikanischen Hotels definitiv am unteren Ende angeordnet. Die Badezimmer sind definitiv, neben dem Teppich auf dem Flur, als erstes zu renovieren. Die Lage ist überhaupt nicht das, was ich in Urlaub verstehe, denn man wohnt direkt am Drei spurigen Highway, der sich Richtung Downtown windet. Sehr schade, denn ich hatte Ocean City ganz anders in Erinnerung, und es ist leider zu einem der typischen amerikanischen Badeorte geworden, die ihre Seele an große Hotelketten verloren haben.

  Overall, we were pleasantly surprised buy our experience. The room was spacious, was great for what we paid, and had everything we needed. Mini fridge, microwave, sink, one TV in the bedroom and one TV in the mini living room, and the bathroom was stocked with plenty of towels for the two of us. The bed wasn't the comfiest and the room was a little dated, but it was clean and had lots of space, so we were definitely satisfied. Parking was included, which was awesome. Location was a 5 minute walk to the beach, making this a perfect spot. The included breakfast was an awesome perk, definitely adding to the value. It wasn't anything restaurant-style, but it was perfect for us. We enjoyed it both mornings we were there, and there was plenty. As a Precaution: Many doors down from us, there were some really loud guests. I didn't say anything, as we couldn't hear it from our room, but this could easily be a problem for other guests. The walls here aren't very thick. For how last minute we booked and the price we paid, we were super happy with our stay.
