We stayed there on a trip and the rooms were clean, the bed conftable but for the bathrooms it will be awsome if ther have stractors to remove the humidity after taking a shower, also if you are not careful, you can spread water putside the shower easily. They include breakfast whish is good but it will be so much tasty if it is fresh the egg and more variety.

Stayed at the Best Western Plus Laurel from Sunday, March 29th 2026 to Wednesday, April 1st 2026. Just three nights of stay, for the purpose of working on my Genealogy Chart at the National Archives College Park Maryland. I arrived at the hotel for check in early Sunday evening on the 29th via an Uber all the way from M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, Maryland to this Best Western Plus Laurel, Maryland and believe it or not, the Uber was very cheap considering how far I had to travel. Check In at the hotel went relatively smoothly aside from the fact that I was told at check in that the property was having issues with the hot water or lack thereof; which I was already aware of the issue because I read it in the reviews prior to making my booking. During the check in process I was peering around the hotel lobby and the breakfast area and the lobby itself as well as the breakfast area, was very clean, up to date and appeared to have been renovated quite rather recently. Also, the furniture in the hotel lobby was new and clean. When I finally arrived upstairs to my assigned room, the room was very spacious, smelled fresh and clean and the room had all new furnishings from the floor carpet to the night stands in the room to the bed frame and bedding to the dresser, desk and television. Also, I was assigned a room that was facing the causeway that passes thru the town of Laurel, Maryland and went over the Patuxent River. At sunrise, I would make sure that I opened the curtains in the room so that I could look in the direction of the river. Another great thing about this hotel is that it sits right along the MARC Train Camden Line and the hotel is less than a five minute walk from the Laurel Train Stop along this line, which is really convienent if you are not driving and ride public transport. For those who don't know the MARC Train is a regional rail line that runs between Baltimore, Maryland & Washington D.C & has a bunch of stops in between. There are two MARC Train Lines: The Camden Line & the Penn Line. Also, Laurel, Maryland which is where this hotel is located....Is at an equal distance from both Baltimore, Maryland & Washington D.C. as it sits right between these two cities in Prince George County, Maryland, which I think is perfect. Lastly, the gym in this hotel is immaculate!!!! Everything in the entire gym is brandnew. As for the free morning breakfast....I didn't try it because I was either up & out too early in the morning before breakfast was served during my stay or I was up and out too late after breakfast had already been served and shut down. Overall, I would say that this was a good stay so good, that the hot water issues didn't even matter. The pros of this stay that I listed definitely outweighed the one con. Book the Best Western Plus Laruel.....You won't regret it!!!!! That's it, that's my review.

Get here and check-in. Man at the front desk was nice and offered a room upgrade since I was a diamond select member. Nice gesture, but the suite upgrade was for a king, we were booked for 2 queens. Okay there’s a sofa bed. The sofa was the most uncomfortable thing I’ve ever sat on. At least one cushion had a hole in it and I had to sit on a pillow to feel like I’m wasn't going through to the floor. I see the front desk man as I’m getting ice. He asked about the room, tell him my story and tell him I’d like to go back to our original room type for our next night’s stay. I don’t get to sleep until approximately 4:00 a.m. because of a constant pain issue I have. I sleep with earplugs and I’m woken up about 8:00 a.m. to this awful sound which I assume is drilling into the wall. I go to the front desk to change rooms and get asked how my night was. We’ll…..when I say I was woken up with earplugs in she says, they are working on rooms and the room next to us was one of the last they had to do and they are the night shift and that’s when they had time to do it. Let’s see, most of your customers sleep at night. Wouldn’t you have a day shift work on the rooms, especially since checkout is 11:00 a.m. and most check-ins are 3:00-4:00 p.m. We put our stuff in the new room and leave for the day. Get back, turn the heater on and nothing. Try several different ways to get it working and no heat. I call the front desk and get told that the manager and her husband are checking breakers. Ahhh, so other people are complaining? Yes, 3 other people on my floor. Get a call. They have to call a professional in the morning, they have extra blankets I can go down and get. Excuse me! You can bring them to me, and what about the air temperature. She acts like ambient air temperature is a new concept. I'm supposed to shower and walk out to a freezing room. I’m supposed to sit here with my whole body including my head under the blankets. Knock at the door. I have your blanket. That's good, we have 2 beds. I didn't know, I'm maintenance. Let’s see so you have no idea how many beds are in the rooms you work in is my thought. Tell him to have the manager call me. 3 hrs later no call from manager. Let’s see the person who is supposed be taking care of the hotel can’t contact the people freezing in their rooms and work out an alternative (like a different room since I’ve heard the others complaining were on this floor) before going back to her nice cozy house. Temp is supposed to drop to 29 tonight. The room should be nice and cozy by then, NOT. So now I’m in my bed under the covers with my leggings, and a long sleeve shirt on. Haven’t had the want to go shower even though I might be warm for a while.

The general manager here is a complete jerk. He’s lied, he bangs on doors aggressively which made me feel threatened, all while saying he doesn’t I’m expecting and gave blood clots but he harasses me every morning between 10:30 & 11am no Grace period or etc. I’ve spent so much $$ here and am working on escalating things and will go to court if needs be for defamation and discrimination against Mike the GM. He will lie and write gentle threats. I have a whole thread from him that supports my review. He’s full of crap spend your hard earned money elsewhere go to Bethesda in Montgomery county Maryland where the house keepers won’t throw out your tooth brush, when you call and request something someone will actually come and bring it and the fruit won’t be nasty. Hes also said oh we aren’t a good fit, im sorry i didnt realize i needed to fit in at a hotel as if this is some sort of gang or etc in order to stay there, i dont get treated this way by hilton or Marriott. Run down the street. I’m working addressing said issues by waiting on communications from owner! Lastly I do not wish for Mike who falsely claims himself as the owner and he’s general manager behind this establishments google review.
