  Caution! The General Manager of this hotel may unilaterally cancel your booking! Summary of our experience: I had booked this hotel for a stay after taking my daughters to the BTS concert in Baltimore in August 2026. When I arrived at the hotel to get checked in, the front desk agent informed me that our reservation had been canceled by the general manager of the hotel earlier in the day, and that apparently he "does this ALL the time!" The reason I was given? Because they couldn't get a payment on our pay-at-the-hotel rate to go through. (They never tried to call my phone to complete the payment; the general manager simply canceled it.) To the credit of the front desk clerk, they were alone at the hotel and were swamped, and was willing to try to give us an upgraded room at the same rate that we had booked many months prior. Ultimately, they were unable to find a way to change the rate in the system, so we had to drive back home that night instead of getting the much-needed sleep we had planned on. We made it safely home by 3am, fortunately. The moral? BUYER BEWARE! I would only trust a booking at this hotel if it's a prepaid booking. The "pay at the hotel" rate may be canceled, given that (apparently) this general manager makes a habit of doing this. (And perhaps most frustratingly, since they likely received a rate triple that of what I had pre-booked for my booking, the GM will likely have metrics from corporate that reinforce this anti-customer behavior.)

  This is my second time staying at the Best Western Plus in Laurel. The rooms are very large, clean, and comfortable.

  I just wanted to say that first offs staff was very kind and helpful! Anytime we needed something the front desk lady was so kind and helpful no matter how many times we bothered her! Breakfast is 6am-9am and is honestly so great and worth getting up early for. They have eggs, sausage, breakfast potatoes, bagels, toast, muffins, yogurt, cereal, orange juice etc. so many choices that fill you up for free with your stay! There is also a very kind man that works in the breakfast area that will make your fresh waffle for you and bring it to your table! Everyone down to even the cleaning crew is so kind! it’s very clean here and a good vibe! I would definitely recommend this place to stay at.

  I stayed at this hotel for four days, and it was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment I checked in, the front desk customer service was unfriendly and unhelpful. Staff seemed uninterested and acted as though guests were an inconvenience. Housekeeping was equally disappointing and had to be requested daily to front desk. Towels were not consistently replaced and basic amenities were either forgotten or had to be requested multiple times. I expected much better attention to cleanliness and detail. The location was another major issue. It was EXTREMELY noisy throughout both the day and night, making it difficult to relax or get a good night’s sleep. Between traffic (hotel is right next to a very noisy road) and other disturbances, there was very little peace and quiet. Overall, this stay fell well below expectations. Poor customer service, inconsistent housekeeping, and a noisy environment made for an unpleasant four-day visit. I would NOT recommend this hotel and would choose to stay elsewhere in the future. BE WARNED!

  Rooms appeared neat and tidy. Staff was friendly especially breakfast staff. Our comforter had what appeared to be blood on it when I told the front desk I needed a replacement they said they didn't have any, but offered new sheets. They told me I had to pick up the new bedding from the front. While changing the bedding I realized the sheets were also dirty, glad I had the new ones. Other than that issue the stay was fine. Our room was quiet. Would stay again. Perfect distance from Baltimore and DC.
