  Our stay at Candlewood Suites – Hanover was so much more than a hotel stay. The staff truly became like our temporary family during such a special time in our lives. Once they learned we were there for an adoption and would be staying for several days after our baby boy was born, they shared in our excitement, offered prayers, and showed us so much genuine kindness. We rarely had to ask for anything since the staff was always checking on us, offering help, and making sure we had everything we needed. Their care went far beyond hospitality and made us feel incredibly supported while away from home. Candlewood Suites – Hanover will always hold a special place in our hearts and be a meaningful part of our adoption story. We are so grateful for everyone who made our stay feel like home. ❤️

  You are NOT safe! They cancelled my reservation!!! I made it a month prior. We arrived after a long day, right around midnight, and were told the room was given away. So sorry. Too bad. Gone! I was exhausted. I booked it in the IHG app!! And it was clearly reflected there. Im a platinum member not that it matters here. I had until the day before to cancel or I am automatically charged. And they gave it away. There was a BTS concert in the area and Im sure they charged someone double. I have travelled all around the world. FIRST time to have my room given away. And no one cared. Will never trust Candlewood again.

  The the box spring is broken and hanging thru the sides, I had to clean the bath tub the service by phone and in person is horrible. I was in the military and traveled and this name hotel was my preferred I will never again.

  My husband and I stayed at this location to be close to a concert venue for a few days. The room was clean and had all the amenities we needed and more. I was thankful for the kitchen so we didn’t have to rely on eating out the whole time. The ladies and gentleman we spoke to while there, were friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again if we are in the area.

  ***** Nice hotel with a 5-star General Manager ***** I've had several positive experiences at the Candlewood Suites hotel. The suites are very comfortable and have everything I needed for an extended stay. I have to give special recognition to the General Manager, Ms. Sonya Smith.  She was genuinely attentive and never dismissed any questions or requests. She showed that she cares about her guests on several occasions. One was during a major snowstorm in January when most roads and parking lots were covered with snow & ice. I saw Ms. Sonya clearing the parking lot herself (TBH, I thought one of the strong guys should have volunteered to shovel instead.) There were several other instances when I saw how engaged she was with managing the property & taking care of her guests. It makes me feel really good when the general manager is this welcoming. It always trickles down to the entire team when the GM displays positive attitude and excellent hospitality skills. That's why I returned to the hotel twice this past spring. And also have another reservation coming up soon! -Eva S.
