  I enjoyed a perfect summer’s day and evening fishing on the Shenandoah River with Misty a few days ago. I learned a lot about fishing in shallow and rocky moving water (and, at my age, not to go wading without an able and patient guide like Misty!), especially about anticipating where fish will be feeding and when. He’s an outstanding instructor offering excellent advice to a caster with moderate skills. I wish that I could go on one of his longer trips!

  I traveled to India and Bhutan with Misty Dhillon this Spring. Amazing Experience! Misty and the Transformative Travel team are thoughtful, knowledgeable and attentive professionals who make painstaking efforts to ensure your trip is memorable and seamless. The landscapes, temples, food, wildlife, and overall cultural imersion was so impressive, I have already begun making arrangements to return with TT in 2028.

  I scheduled a half day of fly fishing with Misty and it exceeded all my expectations. After talking on the phone he suggested a great place I had never been to and I had a wonderful time. I had prior fly fishing experience, but Misty is much more experienced than me and is a great teacher. After a few minutes of casting instruction he had me on the water, and I was casting much better. After a simple and delicious breakfast on the shore, washed down with strong coffee, we continued fishing till we were done. Can’t recommend Misty enough and hope to reconnect with him again.

  Transformative Travel provides a truly memorable and profound experience. I've been to India and most recently to Bhutan with this company. The owner, Misty, works with you every step of the way to prepare a tailored itinerary. He makes time for multiple Zoom meetings and introduces you to the guides he personally knows and has worked with for years. My guides in Bhutan became my friends. We had so many great conversations, learning about each other's countries as we traveled through the fantastic landscapes, visited sacred places, and hiked up mountainsides and through edenic valleys. These are memories I will hold in my heart forever.

  We had a fantastic time visiting Bhutan and India. The excitement started with the initial flight from Delhi, over the Himalayas in Paro in Bhutan. The hike to the Tigers Nest was worth the journey in itself. The trout fishing in Bhutan was a superb bonus with gorgeous wild brown trout in fantastic settings. The mahseer fishing, our primary target, was wonderfully challenging and varied in stunning rivers. The hospitality provided throughout the trip was exceptional. Our "side visit" to Kaziranga in Assam was another adventure with fantastic wildlife and a superb farm stay accommodation.
