- EHErik H4 days ago5.0I was really surprised at how much there was to do around this area, the food was great so many places to choose from and the price was great, even the towels where soft which is rare. The service was top notch all around great trip.

Stayed here for Memorial Day weekend, traveling from out-of-state to honor one of our family members who was KIA during WWII and who now rests in nearby Baltimore National Cemetery. Upon checking in, there were contractor vehicles scattered all over the parking lot. Inside, everything was tarped off and people were carrying construction materials and pounding on the floors with hammers. Paint fumes in the lobby and breakfast area. Construction workers scaffolding outside the room windows. We received NO heads up from the hotel that these renovations were taking place. On a major holiday weekend, everything else was booked in the area and we either had to accept the awful conditions or sleep in our car. Had we known in advance, we would have NEVER stayed here. Not wanting to sleep 3 people in a car, we took the room and later contacted IHG about our experience. When contacted about the situation, this hotel's management lied to AmEx saying that the contractors with helmets and yellow construction vests were guests in the hotel. RIGHT. I'm sure all the cones, tools, and building materials were their luggage too. This hotel said TOO BAD and still refused a refund of less than $200. No accountability, don't stay here.
