- BABetsy Ashauer4 days ago5.0This hotel was clean, decor was nostalgic and funky, beds was so comfy as well as the pillows. Amenities to delight and the staff aimed to please and were so friendly. Very secure and even had fresh fruit in their water in the lobby. I will forever stay at IHG hotels. This was my second time staying at an IHG hotel!

I got crab cakes Benedict, and it was amazing. My server, Alicia, was very attentive to my needs and served with humility and kindness. As good as the crab cakes were, she may have been the best part. 5/5 would recommend.

We were very impressed with the people that work at the hotel and how they ensured that our stay was enjoyable. The front desk staff was outstanding, in addition to the valet parking, restaurant, and room cleaning employees. They worked hard and went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. The hotel ownership is very fortunate to have such a great staff, especially Carlton. With a location in downtown Baltimore, it is not the most ideal place to get to and to find good people to operate the hotel. Our only complaints were the lousy app that the valet parking have to use and our Room 404's electrical smell. Overall, our stay was excellent.

I want to acknowledge Shamira at the front desk who provided exceptional 5 star customer service from check-in to checkout. All of the staff were wonderful. The room was clean and larger than expected. We truly had a wonderful time at the Hotel Indigo.

Shamiraa at the front desk is so helpful, kind, and was always available to answer any question. My second kudos goes to Mr. Carlton. I came here for the BTS concert. Despite being local, I wanted to have a little staycation so that I wouldn't have to drive in traffic. Mr. Carlton made me feel so welcomed! He even knew the BTS members names and made an effort to do so! He also kept tabs pn the weather because there was a tornado warning for day one of the concert. Mr Carlton went above and beyond and is a STAR employee!!! The only issue I had is the cleanliness of the hotel. I wish that I could give more than three stars, but cleanliness and comfort are two huge factors I have when deciding what hotel to stay at. I had read positive reviews. Unfortunately, this hotel missed the mark with cleaning. The lobby is stunning. When I reached my room, I noticed a putrid smell. It smelled like body odor and musty sweat. There was a long white hair on the sink. The pillows that I received were stained as well. The room just didn't feel clean, so I sanitized everything myself. Maybe the house keeping staff need a bit more training.
