I got married in Mount Vernon in late April 2026 and coordinated with Hotel Indigo for a room block. I'm already familiar with this hotel as a preferred partner of my employer, spending happy hours there or getting coffee with coworkers in the lobby throughout the years. So I was really happy to formalize a room block for my family who came from Ireland and were new to Baltimore. The staff there really took care of my family during an important celebration. The rooms were big and accommodating for members with limited physical mobility. My aunt knew everyone by their names and was devastated when it came time to leave. Another aunt kept talking up the breakfast that they served - using proper China cups and tea pots, and they don't play around with their tea :) I can't speak highly enough of how kind the staff were and how much they left a lasting impression to my Irish relatives. You hope everything goes smoothly during your wedding weekend and I was thrilled to hear how welcomed they felt and totally smitten with the area. Also, this has to be one of the most affordable hotels in the area and I think a big part of our guests' experience being so positive was the affordability of their stay. They were blown away by the warmth and friendliness of the staff and very happy with the food and accommodations. If you are getting married in Baltimore, I really, really recommend Hotel Indigo as an affordable and wonderful stay for your loved ones.

We were staying at the Hotel Indigo Baltimore with a block of rooms for a family wedding. Our stay exceeded all our expectations! Even before we arrived, Ryan in Sales helped us fix reservations when part of our group accidentally booked through a third party and didn't get in the block. When we did arrive he came to the front to meet us and make sure everything was perfect. Throughout the weekend everyone working the front desk was very friendly and helpful, from offering to make change, giving suggestions for local activities, taking group photos, and even finding a steamer for the wedding dresses. The restaurant accommodated our family of 14 for breakfast with short notice on a busy Saturday morning. We didn't even use the valet service but the men working there let an elderly family member sit in their chair on multiple occasions while waiting for an Uber. And finally, Carlton, the bell captain, was always there to offer an extra hand with a big smile on his face, and sometimes a fun story too. As if all this wasn't enough, our rooms were clean, spacious, comfortable, and quiet. The hotel was conveniently located to restaurants, events, and interesting historical landmarks. I would highly recommend staying at the Hotel Indigo Baltimore Downtown.

Hotel Indigo Baltimore Downtown is officially my favorite hotel in Baltimore 😍🏨 From the moment we arrived, the customer service exceeded every expectation ✨ The hotel has such a modern European vibe 🇪🇺🖤 — stylish, cozy, elegant, and full of character. Every detail made the stay feel luxurious yet relaxing 🌆💫 A special shoutout to our amazing porter Carlton 🙌🏽💼 and the wonderful ladies at the front desk 💕 Their kindness, professionalism, and warm energy made us feel truly welcomed from start to finish 😊👏🏽 The room itself felt like heaven ☁️🛏️ Warm, peaceful, and incredibly relaxing. And let me tell you… the bed is addictive 😩💤 I didn’t want to get up! The bathroom was equally amazing 🚿✨ The shower water was unbelievably soft and refreshing — honestly one of the best hotel showers I’ve experienced 😍💦 The location was perfect too 📍 Only about 10 minutes from the Inner Harbor 🌊 and close to the Lyric 🎭, making everything convenient and easy to enjoy. If you’re visiting Baltimore, this hotel is definitely a 10-star experience 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

We had a wonderful experience with the Hotel Indigo Baltimore. We arranged a room block and farewell brunch for our wedding party happening down the street (at the amazing Current Space gallery). Ryan was incredibly helpful, kind, and easy to work with throughout the whole process! Everyone is so friendly at the hotel and our guests all commented on how wonderful of a stay the had and how comfortable the beds were. We were absolutely and thoroughly pleased with the “farewell” brunch the Indigo put on for us. The staff was most courteous and attentive, the management of “flow” through the brunch and seating availability was spot on, the bar was well received, and the requests we made for additional food options + more time for serving were honored. I would enthusiastically return to the Indigo for a similar event. All in all, a terrific event to bring to a close our celebration. Thank you Ryan and Hotel Indigo!

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was disappointing from start to finish. When we checked into our room, the shower floor had a yellow stain that looked disturbingly like urine. This was the very first thing we saw. We immediately called the front desk and requested a different room, which they provided, but it was already a bad sign for the hotel’s cleanliness standards. The location is technically “downtown,” but the area around the hotel feels unsafe. There were many homeless individuals constantly walking around the entrance, which made it uncomfortable to unload luggage or wait for our car. It did not feel secure, especially with kids. The biggest issue, however, was what happened after checkout. I accidentally left behind an expensive, dry‑clean‑only sweater. I called the hotel right away, and they confirmed they had it. They told me to send a prepaid shipping label, which I did—at my own cost of about $25. When the sweater arrived, I was shocked. It was completely ruined. The fabric was stiff, glued together in places, misshapen, and smelled like someone’s perfume. It was very clear that it had been washed and machine‑dried, despite being a delicate item that only needed to be placed in a bag and shipped. There was absolutely no reason for anyone to wash or handle it beyond packing it. I contacted customer service, and the response I received was dismissive. They insisted they “did nothing,” even though the condition of the sweater speaks for itself. It is now unusable and destroyed. This is unacceptable handling of a guest’s personal property, and the lack of accountability makes it even worse. Between the cleanliness issues, the uncomfortable surroundings, and the mishandling of my belongings, I cannot recommend this hotel.
