  I expected much more from a Four Seasons. My stay at the Four Seasons Baltimore was for a conference where I was speaking. Despite the Four Seasons reputation for luxury and high-quality customer service, I was given a room with no functioning air conditioning in the middle of a very hot summer. The hotel couldn't move me to another room and instead handed me a cheap plastic fan to get through the night. That is simply not an acceptable experience at a luxury hotel. To the hotel's credit, management acknowledged the problem and issued me a complimentary one-night stay certificate as compensation—only at their property, not good for any other Four Seasons location. I don't travel to Baltimore often, but I still appreciated the gesture. Unfortunately, trying to redeem that certificate turned into an ordeal of its own. I contacted the hotel nearly a month before the date I wanted to use the certificate. After waiting about ten days for a response, I was told the stay couldn't be accommodated because of occupancy restrictions—even though rooms still appeared to be available for sale on the hotel's own website. Whether that's due to internal redemption rules or something else, the end result was the same: the compensation offered for a serious service failure was effectively unusable when I actually needed it. Rather absurdly, when I pointed this out to the hotel's customer service representative, she offered to book my stay at the property for that same night at the published nightly rate. The communication throughout the process was slow and frustrating. I also left an Apple charger in my room and after following up, was simply told it could not be found. Luxury hotels inevitably make mistakes. What distinguishes them is how they recover from those mistakes. Unfortunately, Four Seasons Baltimore failed twice: first by putting me in an extremely hot room with no AC in the summer, and then by making the promised remedy difficult to redeem. There are plenty of excellent luxury hotels in Baltimore. Based on my experience, I would recommend choosing one that better reflects the level of service the Four Seasons brand is supposed to represent.

  The spa and pool are average at best. Service and food at the pool was was sub par, at best. Not a true luxury hotel experience.

  Did a event here. Vibe and views are unmatched. Great service, great location in the heart of everything, would definitely work here again.

  My wife and I went here for a weekend getaway, without the kids. The rooms were gorgeous, although TVs were a bit dated and there were some minor misses by housekeeping. However, we were credited for all inconveniences and ultimately this didn't take away from the stunning views, the incredible food (including room service) or the great location and the spa.... which we didn't get to use but toured, was quite well equipped. Pro tip book spa in advance.

  This is absolutely a 5 star hotel with all the bells & whistles. I stayed for 5 days/4 nights as a birthday/ family event. Every single team member excellent in superb hospitality concern & caring. They made me feel very special as if I was the only guest of course I was not 😊. The concierge - team hospitality check in - spa team members - the secure areas for ladies-the Esthetician -I had a facial that was so relaxing it almost put me to sleep!!The hospitality of the bellman’s- dining room team members - housekeepers- all on point - beautiful soft linens- spa experience bath gels lotions - spa tub-special area for clothing- laundry service on site- my shirt laundered within hours - valet service the best I’ve ever encountered- delicious food experience- the cappuccino so mouth watering to my specifications- I loved the infinity pool on the roof top ( also a complete bar on site) & life guard onsite. There was a brunch on the 29th floor which I missed but was able to see- had prime rib- salmon & other delightful foods - as my birthday was celebrated- there was a little cake with a heartfelt note written in the living space - and a beautiful plate of decorative fruit with hot teas I love delivered one day by the management. I loved the personalized experiences. Best of all - I loved the atmosphere of this location - the vibe - the views from the outdoor balcony overlooking the harbor- watching the small boats- the water taxi - was very relaxing. The views of the harbor & surrounding area from the pool area & 29th floor simply breathtaking. At night watching the harbor with the backdrop of the city was picturesque. I felt very secure - elevators operate by scanning the key only going up - special elevators for different areas of the hotel. From what I could see - the security team made the guests feel safe - plus helpful.This location is in the heart of the city - alongside the beautiful harbor - surrounded by excellent shopping experiences.
