On a positive note the beds are comfortable and the rooms were clean but beyond that it was a complete disappointment. Carpets in hallways are stained and threadbare in places, walls damaged and only the most minimal repairs completed. Once in the rooms the lack of upkeep is evident with peeling paint, stains, cracks, poorly repaired walls and old worn furniture. Add to this the staff are not particularly friendly and I can say with confidence there are better options in the area.
- DSdarren smithSep 19, 20261.0This is a nice hotel but BEWARE...... Your holding deposit is not paid back when you leave. We rented 2 rooms for 3 nights, holding deposit of £85.72 & £98.10. This was 4 weeks ago and deposits still stating PENDING from our accounts. I have even emailed the hotel about this in week 2, they didn't even bother returning an email back!
- AHAshley HennesseySep 7, 20261.0Be prepared to have your card ran twice from this company and them tell you it is your bank, they will not cover any fees, also when you check in be prepared to not have a room available to you at 3pm check in, they will give you a key and charge you but tell you your room won’t be ready til 4-5 pm. No Breakfast available, They don’t say it on their site or when booking but all rooms have a full kitchen! luckily there is a I Hop next door.

While the building is a bit dated and there’s only one elevator, those minor inconveniences were easily outweighed by the great experience overall. The front desk staff were friendly, professional, and attentive, and the complimentary cookies were such a nice touch. Our room was exceptionally clean, with crisp sheets, comfortable pillows, and—my personal favorite—a fantastic shower with excellent water pressure. The location was convenient and felt safe. Overall, a very pleasant stay and an easy five stars from us!
