This was a stay part of a family trip for us and we enjoyed it very much! Great, clean hotel, very good breakfast, excellent service. Before check-in, we arrived a little early and the lady at the front desk, Kathleen, was very nice and accommodated not only our immediate check-in, but also the floor request (on a Saturday!) Thank you!

At 11pm, after a 10 hour drive, me and my daughter attempted to check-in, however, the guy at the front desk insisted there was no reservation under the name I gave him. The reservation was made under my fiance's name, but he's a pilot and was unable to come on the trip with us. My name was also on the reservation and I had the confirmation email with me as well, but he wouldn't even look at any of that. Instead he made me call my fiance to then have him call back to the hotel in order to verify everything with this unfriendly employee. Thankfully he was not flying at the time and was able to speak with this man directly, but if that had not been the case I'm not sure what we would've done. Miracle of miracles the reservation was immediately found under the name I gave him (which also showed my name) but we had to jump through hoops to get to that point. There was another extremly friendly employee there who had been vaccuming behind the desk when this was all going on and he told the other guy to just check us in, but he only responded by saying "they don't have a reservation", which we clearly did. He also wouldn't give me his name, so unfortunately I only have details to back me up. As two women, one being a teenage girl, this is the last thing we should have to deal with when traveling late at night into a city we are unfamiliar with. Other than that incicent, the room was clean and quiet and the breakfast items were more than sufficient. I would stay here again as long as that grumpy employee wasn't at the front desk when we arrived.

To begin, there's a noisy construction site just beyond the outdoor pool. VERY loud in the AM..... running a chainsaw before 8am 😳 The mattress feels ancient, like an old spring mattress. Maybe bring your own pillow too! 😅🤷🏻 ✌🏼

Small outdoor pool in the parking lot. One Microwave per floor next to the ice machine. Television freezes on network stations including CBS and Fox making it difficult to enjoy the FIFA World Cup Games. Cracked sink in our room.
No cleaning service after the first night. After the second night when I asked for cleaning. The lady at the front desk told me they needed to turn over 138 rooms with only 5 cleaning staff and would be unable to clean my room. She asked what I needed that she could give me.
I told her that I had already been given towels the night before and that what I wanted was a room clean, empty garbage cans, clean towels and dirty towels taken away. She said I know this is not your problem but what can I give you to take to your room.
I told her, I am not going back to my room. I am leaving for the day. I felt bad because I don’t feel like I should have to argue with the front desk to get my room cleaned. The night before when I approached the front desk, the gentleman said my room must not have been cleaned because I left a note on my door. I told him there was no such notice on the door. He said that the rooms were cleaned daily and towels refreshed.
A customer shouldn’t have to beg for consistency in service or a pleasant experience!
