Perfect 80 degree May weekend and not a single pool attendant to help guests. The maintenance man appeared around noon with a large bucket of umbrellas and began installing them... after three hours guests still could not use them for shade as they hadn't been "safety checked". Hmm not his fault I suppose but I'm amazed management didn't check the forecast and see the summer weather would be arriving for the weekend and deploy the umbrellas in advance. Memorial Day weekend is moments away and the resort is sold out and yet the pool is a service wasteland. So many unhappy guests asking him over and over if they could have an umbrella and met with a no; asking when they'd be available and given a shrug. Meanwhile the few elevated loungers with shade had a Lord of the Flies scene as people aggressively swooped in to grab vacated spots. The ol reserved but not in use pool chaise dilemma we all know and hate. It's giving low budget Caribbean hotel on spring break. One lone gal attempted to take food orders for the entire pool zone. I didn't even try, not up for that investment of energy hoping and waiting. I felt so bad for the families with small kiddos and elderly folks having no assistance or service while trying to maintain a safe pool area and supervise little tots. The lobby area had plenty of chipper suited men smiling but not contributing much to the actual experience. Armond from White Lotus came to mind. The resort seems confused about their tennis and pickleball offerings. Is this an amenity for hotel guests or an upcharge? Even their website says both. We were told twice it would be complementary and enjoyed a little 30 min game. Only to be told it would be billed afterward. Most of the dining establishments were closed for dinner during our stay and not much else was open in the vicinity. The "kale salad" was tiny and contained no kale. The fish was the size of a deck of cards in the fish & chips. Tasted great but left hungry. Turndown service left one minuscule tasty treat the size of a nickel for two adults to share, I guess. Lobby cookies were always gone and we were told each day to "come back at 11am". Entire conversations and more could be heard next door...Our neighbors disclosed much more than they bargained for with the sound transferring from room to room. Really unrestful. I can only imagine if there were kids in the adjacent rooms because the adult neighbors woke me up every morning. Idk not feeling Condé Nast best here. It's giving La Quinta. The website is pretty though.

We stopped in for an adult beverage at 4:45, ordered, and we’re ready to leave at 5:20 but some of our beverages came. We stayed till 6:00. 4 drinks came to $74.00. Not impressed.

Incredible resort! We went for the first time to celebrate my first Mother’s Day and the staff and grounds were superb! I especially loved the hospitality and kindness from housekeeping, the front desk receptionist (Monica), and our barista (Andrea) at the onsite coffee shop. The rooms had great views as well were very well maintained. The grounds were stunning we loved seeing all the blooming tulips! Thank you for a memorable stay.

An absolutely gorgeous resort that makes it feel like you're tucked back on a private estate. For how goregous the grounds are, you want your staff to match - which is where the resort falls short. We recently visited to celebrate our engagement and the resort (fully aware of the celebration) made no effort to show their appreciation for us choosing to spend our time (and money) with them to celebrate. It left a bad taste in our mouth and as a couple looking for a wedding venue, was a clear indicator that they do not care about the customers experience. Real shame for how gorgeous the property it!

Wonderful choice for our Babymoon! From the moment we arrived we were treated with the utmost care and responsiveness. We received a generous room upgrade and thoughtful welcome gift of chocolate dipped strawberries. In-room dining with a water view made the trip unforgettable. The direct text line with guest services is a game changer, dramatically simplifying life. Highly recommend booking here for any type of weekend getaway.
