Service is unparalleled. Luke and Alex went above and beyond! I would give those two 10 starts if I could for coming to my rescue.

We cannot recommend Wequassett highly enough for a wedding or special celebration. From the very first day we chose the venue, through months of planning and every moment of the wedding itself, Wequassett's staff continually exceeded our expectations. The entire Wequassett team — from registration and the front desk to catering and guest services — provided exceptional service and went above and beyond during our event and for all of our guests that stayed on property. Everyone was so impressed with the beautiful accommodations, amenities, service, and setting. The venue is breathtaking, the food was outstanding, and every detail of our daughter and son-in-law’s wedding was executed beautifully. It was a dream. We are incredibly grateful to the Wequassett team for creating such a beautiful and unforgettable experience for our family and friends. We will certainly be back.

Sadly, a disappointing experience at the Tavern. The manager/woman in charge was rude and showed no warmth, poise or professionalism when asking for a table/bar seat. Our drinks and appetizers came out wrong and late, and we had to struggle to get anyone’s attention to fix the order. We ultimately had to raise our hand just to ask for the bill. We left feeling completely unwelcome. Especially disappointing as we were planning our wedding that weekend and had been looking forward to Twenty Eight Atlantic for a dinner. As a Cape born family, we will continue choosing Chatham Bars Inn or the White Elephant properties if looking for upscale options.

We stopped at the outdoor bar prior to an Outer Cape sunset sail (which was wonderful, thanks Mike!) As we approached the bar, the bartender Karl, rather abruptly shouted that we had “5 minutes “, at least 3 times. We, unfamiliar to the resort, didn’t realize that there were time restrictions. But we felt it was uncalled for to shout at us and not explain what the “5 minutes “ was all about. It was very disappointing to be treated unkindly, not to mention to be shouted at in front of others.

We really enjoyed our recent stay at Wequassett. The location and venue is lovely and well maintained with beautiful flowers everywhere. Everyone was very kind and accommodating. Highly recommend taking the complimentary boat out to the outer banks beach as it was so beautiful and remote there. Reasons I put 4/5 star is we felt this property is more of a 4 star resort than 5. Reasons: Service could be hit or miss at the restaurants and pool area. The primary pool did not feel large enough for a packed resort filled with families/kids in August and there would be wait times for seating. And this is small but the staircases to the rooms felt a bit dingy aka carpet needed replacing and there was visible grime and spider webs.
