  Older hotel remodeled with newer amenities. Staff was great. Room was clean . Picnic table outside pool which worked out for pizza delivery after swim! Great non busy area

  We stayed here for one night during our 3-day vacation, and it was one of the best hotel experiences we’ve had. One thing that really stood out was the 24-hour coffee station in the lobby. From my past experience with many chain hotels, coffee is usually available only during breakfast hours. I was a little hesitant at first, but the front desk staff was very friendly and welcomed me to help myself. I even missed breakfast the next morning, but before checking out I was able to grab a couple of cups of coffee, which I really appreciated. As soon as we entered the room, we noticed how fresh and clean it smelled. The room was spotless, and that great first impression continued throughout our stay. I also liked the thoughtful note letting guests know that if they forgot essentials like a toothbrush, toothpaste, or a comb, they could simply get them from the front desk. It’s a small detail, but it shows they care about their guests. During our 3-day trip, we stayed at multiple hotels, including a Hilton in Boston, and this Holiday Inn Express was noticeably better in terms of cleanliness, comfort, and overall hospitality. Highly recommended. We would definitely stay here again!

  I went straight to the Holiday Inn website to book to make sure that the pool was open. I didn’t see any closure note. From past experience, third-party websites might list a pool, but it might actually be closed so they have asked me to book directly from the hotel’s website. Well, that wasn’t the case here. I specifically booked this hotel for the pool for my son and once I got there, they told me that the pool was closed. I was really upset and asked for a discount and customer service was not great. The room smelled musty. The breakfast was ok. They refunded me $28 out of $286. There was also a $50 early check-in fee, which they didn’t charge us. Overall, I thought the hotel was not worth the cost.

  How disgusted am I as a traveling Nurse, this is the second time I’ve stayed at this hotel. I’ve been a Diamond elite member for many years. I booked this hotel for 25,000 points even though last week I had to pay 45,000 points to stay here. upon arrival. I was told as a Diamond elite member. I can only get two drinks and not a drink and a bag of chips the guy at the front desk try to charge me $6 dollars for a bag of chips and a granola bar knowing I’m a professional Customer here for five hours of sleep. He actually had the audacity to tell me it’s only two drinks as a diamond elite and I cannot get a drink and a bag of chips. The thing that makes me sick to my stomach is I work in the ED 16 hours and I haven’t eaten all day and a lousy bag of chips was an argument at the front desk. I will never stay at this location ever again especially because they cannot honor me as a Damond elite member IHG has turned to trash, no Diamond elite parking available and I had to park all the way at the end of the parking lot. I don’t appreciate being treated like this, especially as a professional and spending thousands of dollars at IHG hotels I will now be going to Hilton this Hotel is disappointing and I don’t like to be treated like a pay by an hour Customer. Shame on the front desk for treating me as though a small bag of chips was a crime to take with my soda. I would give them -8 stars for the embarrassment alone.
