  Raj the manager is awesome and personally drove me to the Park & Fly, which made my morning with an early flight very easy. Room did the trick for a quick stay before flying out. Thank you!

  For nearly three years, I stayed at the Best Western Braintree regularly while commuting to the Boston area for work. Because I chose not to relocate my family for an amazing career opportunity in Boston, I was personally covering the costs of frequent flights, hotel stays, meals, and all the expenses that come with living away from home several days at a time, twice a month. Finding a hotel that was affordable, clean, safe, and comfortable wasn't just a preference, it was essential. After more than 40 multi-night stays, I can confidently say that the Best Western Braintree exceeded my expectations time and time again. The location is excellent, with convenient and affordable access to Boston via the MBTA Red Line, making it a practical and cost-effective option for anyone needing access to the city. The hotel is consistently clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff is always friendly, welcoming, and professional, and the complimentary breakfast is reliably good. What truly sets this property apart, however, is the management team. They genuinely care about their guests and clearly take tremendous pride in running the hotel. In an industry where many properties simply do the minimum, this team goes above and beyond to create an environment that feels welcoming and personal. Over the course of my many stays, they came to know me not as a room number, but as a person. Best Western as a brand may not always have the reputation of some higher-end hotel chains, but this particular hotel proves that exceptional leadership and genuine hospitality matter far more than the logo on the building. When you're away from your family as often as I was, finding a place that feels comfortable and familiar makes a huge difference. The Best Western Braintree became that place for me. I am grateful to the management team and the entire staff for making my many weeks on the road a little easier and far more enjoyable. If you're looking for a clean, affordable, well-managed hotel near Boston with people who truly care about their guests, I highly recommend the Best Western Braintree.

  After checking in with some bizarrely rude customer service, I decided to belatedly check the reviews and have to say that was the best part of my trip, having my experience validated by the many who have come and complained before me, and being entertained by their accounts. The demeanour of both the front desk woman and the gentleman was sullen, and oddly suspicious, with the man telling me in an accusatory way that the room hadn’t been paid for yet as if I was considering demanding squatting rights. I was also made to fill in a form stating I wasn’t going to smoke, have a pet or receive any visitors, and made me feel like I was checking into a 1950s boarding house for ladies of ill repute. The room had a tired decor and sad atmosphere, like it was remembering its hey day when ‘brown with more hints of brown’ was in vogue, and there was a faint whiff of cigarettes ingrained in the fabric of the building. I went back down to clarify how the $100 security deposit worked, as there didn’t seem to be anything in the room that could reasonably be considered an “incidental” and I didn’t want to be charged for something not there. When I mentioned in a chatty way that I wasn’t used to this process at other hotels (who simply hold your card details), the woman at reception all but accused me of lying about having travelled. I’m European, so perhaps it’s simply less common there, but she clearly didn’t like me, and I decided further conversation was unlikely to improve matters. The whole trip just left me with a bad taste in my mouth.

  I frequent the Best Western often while traveling for work and I must say the staff at this specific location were very unwelcoming.

  Rooms are clean. Water is nice and hot. Water pressure needs some work. Only issue is the benches out front most smokers sit there but they are close to the front door. Smoke and the nasty smoke smell attacks you when you walk in or out. Also, maybe put smokers benches further away and put some benches for non smokers to sit at so we don't have smell the nasty smoke smells
