- HFHenry Fietzek1 day ago5.0We stopped at the Moo bar, for a drink and they had raw oysters on the half shell for $1 bucks each from 11-4PM Drinks were like $11-16 bucks. The oysters were so fresh and delicious! U can order 2 dozen at a time, last day in Boston so I did 4 dozen! The bar tender was a gal from SD and she was so nice. I highly recommend this place for the oysters they were great.
- KCKurt C.1 day ago5.0Everything is excellent at the XV Beacon! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Hotel is clean and bright. Our room was spacious and had everything we needed. Staff is spot-on! All are friendly and helpful. The town car service offered by the XV Beacon was very helpful. Special thank you to General Manager Amy and her staff for putting on the rooftop fireworks viewing party on July 4th. Water, cookies, chocolate strawberries, made it a fun time, and the limit of just hotel guests made the party manageable and not like a crowded bar. Note: the Mooo... restaurant in the hotel lobby is worth a visit or two. Highly recommend this hotel.

Will the hotel arrange transportation?
Yes, the Concierge will gladly assist with airport transportation, limousines and car rentals. Please contact our team at Concierge@xvbeacon.com for assistance. Our Boston luxury hotel does have a courtesy car that does complimentary drop offs within the downtown area of the hotel, and also can drop off at Logan International airport for a flat $60 fee. We have two vehicles, a sedan and an SUV; we operate 1 vehicle per day. Advance reservations are encouraged for the use of the house vehicle during one’s stay.
Does the hotel offer dry cleaning services?
Yes, the front desk handles all laundry and dry cleaning service inquiries. Same day options available.
What is the tax on the guestrooms?
Currently, there is a 14.95% tax on our room rates. Starting October 1, 2021 there will be an additional 1.5% tourism fee added to the current rates. Therefore, guest will incur our standard 14.95% tax, plus a 1.5% tourism fee moving forward.
How can I obtain reservations/tickets to dining and the arts?

Yes, we offer complimentary use of our exercise room, 24 hours a day. Free weights, a woodway treadmill, peloton bike, Hydrow rowing machine, and other cardio equipment are available, along with personal trainer sessions arranged with our concierge team.
Can I ship my packages to the hotel before my arrival?
Registered Guests are welcome to ship packages to the hotel. Storage of luggage is complimentary as well as a few small parcels. Due to space limitations, a package handling fee will be charged per package if 5+ packages are needed to be received and stored. Price varies related to size of package. Please email the concierge with any questions.

Do you allow dogs on property?
The hotel is “dog friendly” and permits any size well-behaved dog with advance notice at time of booking. The hotel requires the dog’s name, age, and breed prior to guest & K9 companion arrival. Please note that we have a $85 pet fee to which we donate 50% of the proceeds to a local animal organization. Dogs can not be left unattended in the guestrooms under any circumstances. Dog sitting services are available and can be organized by our Concierge team. “Green space” is available just one block away on the Boston Commons.
