  Our stay at the The Godfrey Hotel Boston was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. This was a special father-son trip for us, and we wanted to make the most out of our time exploring Boston, and staying at the Godfrey made that experience even better. The atmosphere of the hotel was incredible: modern, welcoming, lively, and comfortable all at the same time. Every part of the hotel was spotless, and the level of cleanliness and attention to detail really stood out throughout our stay. The service was equally impressive, with everyone making us feel genuinely welcomed and taken care of. A huge shoutout and thank you to Arbon, who truly went above and beyond to make sure our stay was as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. His hospitality, professionalism, and kindness made a lasting impression on both of us and genuinely elevated our entire experience. We actually discovered the Godfrey Hotel through both ChatGPT and Expedia, where it came highly recommended, and now we completely understand why. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay while experiencing Boston. Highly recommend to anyone visiting the city!

  We had our wedding block here and they went above and beyond. From creating the booking link and assisting with bookings to how helpful everyone at the hotel was we were so happy we picked this hotel. Everyone was so nice and happy for us throughout the weekend. Perfect location for our Boston wedding.

  While planning our first trip to Boston, we looked at all the hotels in the area and chose The Godfrey based on its location. That's one choice we did not regret. The service we received from all the staff was great. From the front desk staff to the gentlemen at the door. All were kind and courteous. A special thanks to Terrell, our bar tender. After walking all day , we enjoyed talking to him as we enjoyed the drinks he prepared for us. Thank you all, David and Laura

  The Hotel was great while I was there. I made a comment on a survey about how I wished they had ceiling fans (knowing that about zero hotels in USA have ceiling fans) and they brought me up a small floor fan - which was awesome. This would have been a full 5 star review until I saw my credit card statement. My company booked and paid for my 4 night stay through our travel service. I was asked for my credit card for incidentals when I checked in. I checked out at the front desk, they said they'd send the receipt to the company and I thought I was all done. Without anyone saying a word at the desk on checkout, I noticed 3 weeks later a charge for $186.32 on my card. Turns out the "3rd party agency only pays for the reservation, and booking fees...but not the daily hotel fee...and they were unable to refund my card and charge it to my company." Had I not checked my statement, I'd have never known how I got flimflammed. Dirty pool Godfrey, next time in Boston, I'll stay somewhere else.
