  Servizio e accoglienza impeccabili in pieno centro a Boston Il verdetto: Un hotel eccellente per posizione e comodità, dove a fare davvero la differenza è l'attenzione straordinaria e premurosa del personale verso gli ospiti. Il contesto del soggiorno: Abbiamo soggiornato qui durante un viaggio in famiglia, prenotando due camere, e la posizione centrale si è rivelata comodissima per esplorare la città. Cosa ci è piaciuto: Ospitalità e cortesia: L'accoglienza è stata fantastica fin dal primo momento, con l'assistenza per i bagagli e un portiere sempre presente ad aprirci la porta con un sorriso. Alla reception il personale si è mostrato estremamente disponibile a ogni richiesta, fornendoci tempestivamente un bollitore per preparare il latte per la nostra bambina. Comfort e dotazioni: I tre ascensori sono velocissimi e azzerano qualsiasi tempo di attesa tra i piani. Le camere sono ben fornite di kit utili (ciabattine, accappatoi e asciugamani in abbondanza), oltre a snack gratuiti e bottigliette d'acqua riforniti ogni giorno. In stanza è presente anche un pratico microonde. Cosa si può considerare (nota soggettiva): Le stanze hanno uno stile moderno con tonalità sul grigio che a qualcuno potrebbero sembrare un po' sobrie o asettiche, ma si tratta di un dettaglio puramente estetico che non intacca minimamente l'altissima qualità del soggiorno. Consigli pratici per i visitatori: - Se si viene dall'aeroporto è possibile prendere il comodo e gratuito bus SL1 fino al capolinea a South Station, da li sono 10 minuti a piedi, facile anche con le valigie grazie agli spaziosi marciapiedi. - Pasti veloci ed economici: A pochissimi passi si trova il supermercato Roche Bros., perfetto per acquistare piatti caldi pronti a prezzi accessibili e scaldarli comodamente al microonde in camera, risparmiando così su qualche cena fuori. - Shopping: Nelle immediate vicinanze c'è anche un punto vendita Marshalls, ideale per fare ottimi affari su abbigliamento e accessori.

  I have just contacted the hotel via phone & have been hung up on whilst I was speaking by a lady at reception at roughly 4:45BST. I am calling from a travel company who sells the rooms at this hotel to our customers, however, after the way this lady has treated me, I will be less inclined to promote this hotel to our clients as we want the best service possible for them. If this lady is going to continue working in customer service she needs some serious training as she is ruining business with her rude behaviour.

  My 13yr old son wanted to go to Boston for his birthday (we are from Maryland). I found this hotel close to everything we wanted to see and selected based on that and its stellar reviews. We arrived on our first day around 1:30pm, warmly greeted by the valet team right out front, a welcoming, pleasant and pain-free experience. We all walked into a beautiful and clean lobby then greeted by a young man at the front desk who was enthusiastic and friendly right off the bat. He wished my son a happy birthday, they both shared a few moments talking about their love of soccer and let us know our room would be ready shortly, as we were a bit early. Later that evening 3 cupcakes and a bottle of wine (for the adults obviously), some chocolate treats, a soccer ball and a very thoughtful card were delivered to our room, wishing my son a happy birthday again. They went way above and beyond and out of their way to do this special thing for him. How incredibly thoughtful, right!! We stayed for 4 nights and every single time we left and came back we were greeted with big smiles and top notch hospitality. The valet team as also absolutely amazing, they quickly took care of my car and did it with tremendous care. I want to spotlight a few staff members in particular, The gentleman that originally checked us in, the bartender we met the first night and Dren with the valet team all made us feel valued and made my son feel like a total spoiled celebrity! We will definitely be booking another stay with the Godfrey Boston next fall!!! Rooms were a good size considering your in major city, surrounded by nothing but historic buildings. Rooms and bathrooms were clean and well stocked. Our room was reset and restocked with snacks each day for us to return to after a long day of exploring. Temperature control was a super important factor of our stay and we had total control and we cool and comfortable our entire stay. The hotel did a cute little snack cart each evening in the lobby, with tons of options. There were a ton of other amen included with our stay (the urban fee) but we didn’t really have much use for them, but all great options to have.

  This hotel is awesome! It’s the perfect location. There is the train station super close, basically walking distance to everything. 5-10 min to the gardens, 15-20 min to north end, Quincy market areas. Less than 5 min to the train station to connect you all over! Wig Shop speakeasy, restaurants, etc all within the same block. They have a nice lobby, which a coffee shop and full service Asian/sushi restaurant attached called Ruka. We did eat there and it was very good. They have a small lobby bar as well. The room was super cozy and stocked with waters and snacks. Shower and bathroom were great, nice after pressure. They will restock your waters daily and on our floor where was a flavored and vitamin water dispenser! Awesome!! I can’t recommend this hotel enough… it was a great price - more affordable than anything in the area. The amenities in the hotel and location were absolutely the best things about it!

  Very cute boutique hotel. It is in a good location a few steps away from The Opera House, Boston Commons and at Downtown Crossing. The check-in and check-out process was quick and easy. I paid extra for a corner room. Although there was not much of a view because the hotel is in-between other tall buildings, it did seem a little more roomy with plenty of light and great room darkening shades for night. For a busy location, it was well insulated with little outside noise leading to a good night sleep. I had what i thought was thoughtful amenities such as bikes, iced water and iced tea in the lobby and popcorn at night but believe me, you pay for all of that and then some. There is a nightly $40.77 mandatory "urban fee" including applicable taxes which the reservation desk did not even mention on check-in so we had no idea all of the thoughtful touches were actually charged. We were told that the 2 waters in the room were free but he neglected to tell us it also included free shacks in the room, a discount at Cafe Bourjour next door, spa credit, etc. There were also Tax Recovery Charges and Service Fees of $69.67 and a mandatory fee $59.99 all of which I have no idea what that includes. The valet is also super expensive at $65 with no available self parking. So, be prepared to pay double. The corner room is booked was $298.15 but actually cost me $599.03 ($493.26 for the room with taxes, mandatory fee and recovery charges, $40.77 urban resort fee and $65 valet).
