  We had a wonderful stay at the Holiday Inn in West Monroe, Louisiana! From the moment we checked in, our experience was excellent. Paige at the front desk was friendly, welcoming, and incredibly efficient. She made the check-in process quick and easy, and she went above and beyond by recommending a local restaurant that turned out to be fantastic. Her recommendation was spot on, and we really appreciated her taking the time to help us. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, making for a very relaxing stay. If we’re ever back in the area, we’ll definitely stay here again. A special thank you to Paige for making such a great first impression. She is an outstanding representative of the Holiday Inn team and deserves recognition for her excellent customer service.

  I travel for work and for the past two years this is my go to and safe place. The staff goes above and beyond. I’m here so much Paige knows me by name. If you’re in the area it’s a nice, clean, kid friendly hotel to book.

  Checking was very nice! Kailey was warm and helpful. The room is well appointed and bright. A few issues with the room though. 1. Water pressure is low. 2. A shelf in the shower was only held up by a little bit of caulking. It fell when I put a little weight on it. 3. The air conditioner is in dire need of service! I have the thermostat set at 60 and it's 74 degrees in here. TLDR: staff Kailey good, rooms need some help.

  When we arrived we were greeted by a cheerful young lady by the name of Kailey. She made us feel welcomed and gave us great service. When we inquired about the decorations in the lobby area to Celebrate the up and coming 250 year celebration. We were informed they were done by K.C. Great job ladies we appreciate your efforts and welcome.

  The bed was comfortable. That's about all I cared about this hotel. After reading all the reviews I expected better. As soon as we pulled up (and for several hours) there was a huge group of unsavory people partying in the side parking lot. I felt unsafe with having our children with us. The pool was very dirty and they didn't have any pool towels in the towel shelving, so we had to use our hotel towels from our room. When I asked for new towels afterwards, the front desk staffer acted like she was justified to have an attitude and somewhat try to lecture me, because I didn't come get pool towels first. Um, no. Y'all need to have the pool towels stocked. I shouldn't have to come do your job for you. There was a man smoking right outside of the fencing by the pool, so we had to leave the pool early...which my kids were upset about. Back to the room. It's so damp. They need dehumidifiers throughout the building. The pillows and bedding feels damp and the carpets are damp. That's going to promote mold to grow..which one of my children is incredibly allergic to. No extra pillow or blanket in the closet like most hotels have. No coffee pot, so you have to walk downstairs to the lobby 1/2 awake to get your morning cup of coffee. Needless to say, but we probably won't be staying here again and we come to Monroe a few times a year.
