  Great stay. Wow the staff are amazingly friendly and helpful. Pamela and Kelsey at the front desk were great and Barbara in the kitchen had a wonderful space set up in the morning. Pamela gave us priceless tips for our New Orleans visit. Rooms were nice with great A/C! Good rooms, beds and showers. Safe and well lit too.

  Paper thin walls. Slow check in. But friendly staff. But got woke up by hearing next room peeing

  I had to Lake Charles unexpectedly, needed a room coming from Houston. we got to the the hotel about 130am thought we checked in filed out the paperwork detailed the type of car signed the form. thought that was that. went up to the room no coffee maker its too late to complain plus we can get coffee tomorrow but it would have been nice to have had a bedtime tea, no worries off to bed right about 3am. then around 730ish the door opens and this guy is saying what the hell, at the same time my wife and I are saying what the hell!! this is actually the scariest it got. Just, imagine if I was carrying a gun that poor guest could have been killed, but wait what about my wife and I ? what if he was some crazed lunatic with a gun and he is opening my hotel room door? about 740 the hotel room phone rings front desk girl is ask who is this. she tells me the room shows I didn't show up last night and returned the room to market. I politely said well no I am here I was checked in last night she request, that I come down to help figure this out. The best thing I can say was the deadbolt was in place. but this could have been much worse. I am still not happy for Holiday Inn dropping the ball like this. I do expect a phone call from management.

  The breakfast was FANTASTIC! The staff was excellent and very friendly. The rooms could have been a little cleaner, and the bathroom was stark and everything was locked down. I felt a little less safe seeing that this was the type of establishment where they were concerned about pilfering bathroom items. Other than that, no complaints.

  To whom this may concern . Amanda the front desk lady .greated me with a smile.talk with professionalism .she was very helpful to .She told me about the laundry room .and I walked out to see her going above and beyond her call of duty.I like a clean entrance. When I pull up to a hotel .when I came down she was pressure washing the entrance. That's a dedicated employee. I like shes doing all she can to make the hotel clean .I think it's great she runs the front desk with ease. People like her is why I will always be back to this holiday express in sulphur.The world is so much better with her running it like she does .holiday express needs more employees like her .
