We moved to a second room that was better but had no shower curtain and looked as if it needed to be re-done. Trim on the door looked like it had been broken into. Pool was covered in slime and someone was smoking in our hallway. Staff was very nice.

- HMHerman MelvilleMay 17, 20263.0The front desk guy was great. He admitted that he was new, but he was pleasant and helpful. When he got to our room, it smelled really weird. It smelled like smoke covered up with a heavy deodorizer. And then when we got in the room, there was a long piece of wood, leaning up against the wall just inside the door. It looked like they were going to replace the trim on the door, but the maintenance man never repaired it and replaced it. We were upgraded to a suite, even though we only paid for a regular room, so that was great. The bed was comfortable and the TV worked great and they had good cable channels. The furniture in the room seemed fairly new and the bathroom was updated. This definitely was a hotel that was purchased and remodeled. The air-conditioning in our room is not working very well we had to turn it down to 67° just for it not to be so muggy and uncomfortable. I went down to use the computer to print off some documents and it was a super old computer with an old DVD slot on it and it was running on a pirated copy of Windows 7. When I was done surfing, a box popped up on the computer that said this version of windows may be counterfeited. Didn’t make me feel too great. The lady work in the breakfast was absolutely delightful and very nice. The food look like it would be decent, however, I got there around 9:15 and they were winding down even though the breakfast doesn’t close until 10 am. This was a below average stay, however I would Not hesitate to stay here again.
