Overall this hotel is at a great location with great service. While the building itself is a bit older, it's clean and well-maintained.
The rooms are well air-conditioned for the Nola summer weather, and always properly cared for.
The pool in the court yard is nice and quiet, a great touch to the stay.
I also had a small injury while staying, which the manager Aaron promptly and professionally helped taken care of. The overall service was also great, with kindness and professionalism all around.

I absolutely love this hotel! Location is great and the staff is wonderful as well. They've always been kind and attentive and helpful. I book this location multiple times a year because of those things. It's a great spot to stay when going to concerts in the area. I will always pick this location if it's available! See y'all soon!

Please keep in mind this is an older hotel in need of minor repairs and maintenance. The staff is wonderful. On our 2nd night there was a weather related issue with our room they took care of it immediately. They were also very kind to my fur baby during our stay.
It is also very centrally located to good eats, the casino, and sights. Highly Highly recommend

I stayed here 2 years ago and this place was really something. Sadly, the hotel has declined a bit since then. On my recent stay, check in was smooth, Aneka was great and got us checked in right away. Issues with door reader headed into the 2nd building right away which became a constant issue. Elevator has seen better days. 2nd floor down button takes body weight force to press so ended up riding up and then down several times. Opening the door to room 222 we were hit with a terrible musty smell that persisted even after use of some air freshener we got from Chase at the front desk. Tried the tv remote, would not turn on. Turned tv on manually and had the weather channel on full blast and remote did nothing but light up. Gave up on the tv. Bathroom door didn’t close properly and trying to lock it, the knob almost fell off. Toilet seat bolts were seemingly non existent as moved around quite a bit. Thought the room was clean until encountered tons of hair in drain that wouldn’t drain and some nasty stuff coming out of sink overflow. Encountered entire families of huge rats running wild all over the courtyard. To be expected to an extent as this is New Orleans, but can only assume it’s mostly from the garbage at the chop house next door which is clearly visible and smelly when on the courtyard. Came back to my room on day 2 and keys didn’t work so back to the lobby during busy check ins to wait for new keys. The hotel still has the best beds of any hotel not only in New Orleans but anywhere I have ever stayed. And Terrence is such a great bartender that although the hotel had no IPAs, I’ll return there to have a drink wherever I’m in town. Just not so sure I’ll stay at the Voco again.

A lovely, small boutique hotel situated nearby the French Quarter and walking distance to many attractions, restaurants etc. Staff friendly & helpful. Room was old, louisiana style, loved the giant four poster, king size bed with steps. Hotel also had a small pool. Would highly recommend.
