Great spot in the thick of it! Tasteful appointed rooms and a nod to the historical aspects are honored. I would recommend this spot.

I am absolutely horrified by what I witnessed at this establishment. I walked in expecting a professional, welcoming atmosphere, but instead, I was met with blatant, disgusting racism that has no place in New Orleans—or anywhere else.
While at the bar, I clearly overheard a white female bartender with dark hair speaking about Black people in a way that was utterly derogatory and vile. It wasn't just a "comment"; it was a display of deep-seated prejudice that was so shocking it almost made me check out of the hotel on the spot and walk away from the bar immediately.
It is rare that I feel this physically uncomfortable in a space, but the atmosphere here is toxic. No guest should ever have to subject themselves to such hateful rhetoric while trying to enjoy a drink or a stay. The management needs to take a long, hard look at who they are employing to represent their brand.
If you value respect, equality, and basic human decency, avoid this place at all cost. There are dozens of world-class bars and hotels in the French Quarter and the Garden District that actually appreciate their diverse clientele. Do not give your money to an establishment that tolerates this kind of behavior.

It’s an interesting location - historic hotel with tranquil garden during the day…….but ultra noisy throughout the night. The local restaurants, bars and passing traffic seem to equate loud volumes with “fun”.

We had a wonderful stay here. We stayed in one of the King Courtyard rooms, and it was gorgeous. I love waking up to the sound of birds and jazz from court of 2 sisters, and enjoying the coffee on the balcony. The bed was comfy, the snacks and drinks were so nicely curated, and the bath robe was comfy and cute! This spot is the city weekend apartment of rich uncle with fantastic taste. It is a historic building, so don't expect all the floorboards to be perfectly even, but it is a perfect spot to stay in the city.

Gorgeous property, really well-maintained and updated.
Stayed in a King with Balcony patio. Super high ceilings, nice bathroom, comfortable bed. Enjoyed the complimentary coffee, cookies, and the drinks downstairs - fabulous bar! The noise from Bourbon Street is NO JOKE. You've gotta be prepared for that if staying on the street side. Would gladly stay again but book a Courtyard room instead.
