  I stayed at this property over Mother’s Day weekend for an staycation, and overall my stay was pleasant. The room itself was great, and the one issue I had with the water pressure was handled immediately and professionally. My concern is with the way I was treated during breakfast at Pete’s on the morning of May 9th. I was seated by a Black woman with an accent who was very welcoming. However, after being seated, I sat for over 10 minutes without being acknowledged or assisted while guests who were seated after me were greeted and helped almost immediately. Eventually, the manager, Justin, came over to greet me and take my order. He explained that they were very busy and that he was stepping in to help. While I did observe him assisting around the restaurant by removing dishes and handing out refills, I did not witness the restaurant being sooooo busy to where management HAD to step in and take orders as majority of the people there were already eating. Once my food finally arrived, I needed ketchup and once again sat for several minutes without assistance until the bartender, Sandee, stepped in to help me. She was the only person who consistently checked on me, offered to refill my water and coffee, and made an effort to ensure I had what I needed. As I explained to Sandee while visibly upset and crying, people work very hard to be able to enjoy certain environments and experiences, and it is deeply hurtful to feel overlooked or as though they do not belong. Watching other guests receive immediate attention while I repeatedly sat unassisted made me feel singled out and, honestly, discriminated against in that moment. That experience left me embarrassed and emotional, and it put a very negative cloud over what otherwise would have been a great stay. I do want to acknowledge Sandee for her kindness and attentiveness, because she was the one person who made me feel seen and cared for during that experience..

  The InterContinental is the pinnacle of New Orleans hospitality! From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable—professional, warm, and attentive to every detail. The lobby is grand and beautiful, and our room was a spacious, quiet sanctuary with high-end finishes. It offers a level of refined luxury that makes you feel pampered throughout your entire stay. 5 stars for the world-class service and the elegant atmosphere!

  My husband and I recently visited NOLO for our anniversary trip. This hotel made our entire stay that much greater! Dontae, who checked us in, was very professional and polite. Our room was spacious and very clean. The location of the property is top tier. It's walking distance to EVERYTHING! The breakfast buffet at Pete's, the onsite restaurant, was delicious. Shout out to the chef making the omelets, he was super cool. The beignets on the buffet were fantastic! Lastly, special thanks to Gina in Sales, you're awesome!

  By far one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The staff was super friendly and helpful! The room we had was incredible. It was a king room with a balcony. The view was great! I don’t think I will stay at another hotel in New Orleans. If you’re looking for a place to stay, I would definitely recommend they also have two restaurants inside the hotel and room service!

  The location is fantastic. The bed is comfortable, and the room is a nice size. We had an item stolen from our room, however, and the woman at the front desk was rude, hostile, and incredibly unhelpful when we asked to speak to the general manager. It was offensive, and not at all any kind of customer service, not to mention the terrible feeling that thieves are entering your room. I wouldn't recommend staying in a place that treats its customers this way.
