  Would recommend. Stayed here to go concert at the superdome. Very clean and spacious. Portable AC is kinda noisy but cold. Fridge and microwave in the room. Walking distance from the dome 5-10min. Lots of mom and pop cafes that are very friendly and delicious. Parking is $45/day, there’s cheaper parking lots right outside of the hotel.

  They show pictures with balcony’s but don’t tell you that the balcony’s are not accessible, the sliding glass doors to the balcony’s are screwed shut. The room I had also had a non functioning thermostat on the wall. Definitely not for the price they charge.

  Stayed one night, took advantage of the swimming pool and the laundry room. No complaints on either one, might have been a slow night for the hotel but we really didn’t see any other guest. Not sure why we got charged extra for parking still, that was a little bit of a surprise. But no complaints with the hotel at all, especially with a great price and great location. Didn’t get out and walk, and not sure if I would if we had more time.

  If I could them a negative stars I would. Upon arrival to the facility I was not greeted as the front desk person was not available. Not only unavailable but new and inexperienced as he charged by card three (3) for incidentals. When this was bought to management attention they did not do anything to rectify the situation as if it was my fault. Pez Debra the manager on duty during that thing instead double down that there was nothing they could do at the moment. I had to reach out to corporate office which instructed them on what to do in which they did so with an attitude. When visiting this facility make sure you are charged properly. On a second occurrence, I went to the pool and my card was not working. I called and she instructed me the pool was closed however I was looking at people in the pool and pool area. I called again and that when she said she lied and the pool was open in which i told her I knew that because I was looking at people in the pool. The overall experience was poor, un professional and lacked a lot of experience. I would not be returning to any holiday inn as it only takes one time for me to experience customer service this bad.

  We stayed at the Holiday Inn New Orleans-Downtown Superdome during this past Mardi Gras season to celebrate my 40th birthday, and it turned out to be an unforgettable trip. To start there was a hiccup stemming from a reservation issue the night before we were supposed to arrive. I was on the phone with the manager trying to resolve it for what felt like hours but she assured me that everything would be okay and to ask for her upon our arrival. When we got to the hotel the next day, the manager immediately stepped in to make everything right. She was incredible—empathetic, prompt, and determined to make sure my birthday trip got on track. She upgraded us to a 1 King Suite with a living area, 2 bathrooms and a stunning city view, which completely blew me away! I unfortunately forgot her name (it's been 6 months since my stay), but her customer service was top-tier. From that moment on, the rest of our stay went without a single issue. The pool area was also super nice—even though we never actually got into the water, we really enjoyed utilizing the outdoor space just to relax and unwind. The location was spot-on as well. It’s close enough to easily walk to Canal and Bourbon Street when you want to join the fun, but far enough away from all the craziness so you can relax when you're done for the day. Huge thanks to the manager for making my 40th birthday stay so special. We would definitely stay here again!
