  Conveniently located near downtown, but it’s still walking distance to the French Quarter, restaurants, etc. Not sure if prices were marked up because of the Jazz Fest, but a bottle of Coke was $7.75. The lady tending the counter was annoyed that I interrupted her lunch when I bought the coke. Breakfasts were expensive too, around $20+. In our room, the AC vents point toward one of the 2 beds. Had to make an air dam by piling pillows up to not freeze at night.

  You cannot beat this location if you’re in town for a Saints game or a concert! We stayed here for an event at the Superdome and it was a total game-changer to be able to just walk across the street. The hotel is clean, modern, and the staff is used to the game-day crowds—they handled everything with a smile. 5 stars for making our trip so easy and stress-free!

  Stayed 4 nights at Holiday Inn New Orleans-Downtown Superdome by IHG and honestly had nothing much to complain about. The rooms were clean and tidy, linens were changed daily, and coffee and other essentials were regularly refilled, which I appreciated. I did not spend much time in the room because I was mostly out attending events and exploring the city, but it was ideal for my purpose. One thing to note is that there are not many in-house food options available. As I learned, the restaurant in the lobby operates mainly for breakfast only. Other than that, the stay was comfortable and convenient overall.

  I felt compelled to write a review as this hotel is unusual. The rooms are pretty nice. I started out with a not-so-great room as my a/c smelled musty and never got cold. I called the second day and was given another room that was really nice, clean and good smelling. The staff seemed to be helpful and accommodating so no complaints there. The location is close to my seminar and within walking distance to French quarter and accessible. My complaint is the extra costs. Breakfast at the hotel was about $30 for okay food. anything extra was outrageously priced. They had no vending machine only a coffee bar where the only water was $6. I was instructed to refill my water bottle on 8th floor at the gym. with no close convenience stores, your only choice is for this coffee bar. Parking is $45 per day also, which is kind of ridiculous because it was nearly empty the whole time. If there were different deals that I did not get, i say this, just make it more reasonable. I would not recommend if you are on a budget.

  Der Aufenthalt war leider von mehreren gravierenden Sicherheits- und Organisationsproblemen geprägt. Bereits kurz nach dem Check-in wurde unser Zimmer aufgrund eines Fehlers erneut vergeben, sodass eine fremde Person Zugang zu unserem belegten Zimmer erhielt. Zusätzlich wurden unsere Zimmerkarten mehrfach ohne ersichtlichen Grund deaktiviert, was den Aufenthalt unnötig erschwert hat. Besonders kritisch war ein Vorfall am nächsten Morgen: Im Eingangsbereich des Hotels kam es zu einem körperlichen Übergriff (Schläge auf den Kopf) durch einen Obdachlosen auf meine Freundin. Der Obdachlose konnte sich offenbar unbeaufsichtigt im Gebäude aufhalten, weshalb wir mit diesem Angriff nicht gerechnet hatten. Auch im Nachgang bestehen Unklarheiten bezüglich Abrechnungen sowie der Rückzahlung der Kaution. Insgesamt entsteht der Eindruck, dass grundlegende Sicherheits- und Kontrollmechanismen im Hotel nicht ausreichend gewährleistet sind. Das Hotel ist an sich schön, allerdings hat uns dieser Vorfall stark getroffen, weshalb wir unsere Reise hier beendet haben.
