  It was an awful experience, the last day I was there I went out to my car at 9am to find a boot on my car, while im paying $42.00 to park on their property. Front desk couldn't give me a logical reason as to why I had a boot on my car, except that I should known I needed to pay daily!! But up untill the last day, they had been charging my room and parking all in one total, but bc someone at front desk didn't do their job the last day I extended my stay, I had to take the entire last day I was there stressing as to why I had one on my car, one guy at front desk had the ugliest attitude and stated he wasn't getting into it bc he wasn't the one who handled the issue. When the lady that work the morning time told me that as long as I paid the parking which they forgot to charge me that they would take the boot off my car immediately and that was at 4:00 in the afternoon she told me she would handle it before she got off work. At 7:00 the book was still in my car when I looked at my Bank online they had in fact charged my card 360.00 besides what they charged me for the room that day... It wasn't until 11:00 p.m. when the guy that did my registration to park in the parking came on and I told him about it and he said oh no let me handle this I'll get it off for you and within 5 minutes it was off my car. Play from 9 a.m.to 11:30pm no one at the front desk could do anything to take it off and by the way they paid to take it off my car because it was their fault but who was going to compensate me for my room that day no one. There were rats everywhere everywhere in the parking lot I was terrified of the rats they were everywhere in multiple amounts there was an infestation of them. I would never ever ever ever stay at this hotel again

  This is easily the nicest Holiday Inn Express I’ve stayed in! The building is a gorgeous historic conversion, which means the rooms have high ceilings and a much cooler vibe than your average hotel. Everything feels brand new, modern, and incredibly clean. For the price and the proximity to the French Quarter, the value is unbeatable. 5 stars for the style and the comfort!

  Don't let the photos fool you. This hotel appears updated on the outside and in the photos, but buyer beware. I was originally assigned a room that when I arrived was occupied! When I asked for another room I was downgraded with no refund offered. My new room was small and in disrepair. - some sort of sticky residue on the carpet - a broken USB outlet next to the beds - stains from who knows what on the window shade -a chair well past its prime - and worst of all, the bathroom door wouldn't stay closed! I have been to many IHG hotels and expected far more from this hotel.

  We had a short stay and unfortunately left two items behind that are very meaningful to us in the closet of our room. I have sent an email to the web address on their website and called the front desk a few times. The first operator forwarded me to the housekeeping department but their mailbox was full. The second operator had me on hold for ten minutes and unfortunately the call was lost. I will continue trying to reach someone. I'm not sure what their protocol is for people who leave behind valuable items but I hope they will help us out. I will update when resolved.

  ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We recently stayed here with a large high school group, and I can honestly say this hotel helped make our trip to New Orleans a success. The location is excellent—just a short walk from the French Quarter, which made it easy for us to experience the city while still having a comfortable place to return to. The rooms were clean, well-maintained, and spacious enough to accommodate our needs. What stood out the most was the professionalism and hospitality of the staff. From check-in to check-out, they were patient, organized, and very accommodating to our large group. That is not easy to manage, and they handled it with care and consistency. Breakfast was reliable each morning, and the hotel provided a safe, structured environment for our students throughout our stay. As a director responsible for dozens of students, I truly appreciated the support and communication from the team. I would absolutely recommend this location to other school groups, families, or anyone visiting New Orleans.
