  I enjoyed my recent stay here. The guy Peyton that checked us in was very friendly and gave us useful information about places to check out in the area. The breakfast was very delicious the team were very visible and friendly. They kept the area clean and stocked with food kudos Cynthia, Ms. Marie and Jackson. I would recommend this location. It’s close enough to walk to nearby attractions and still nice for a night of rest. Angela at the front desk went above and beyond to help us arrange transportation to the airport . Overall everyone was friendly and attentive. When we visit New Orleans we will definitely come back to stay here.

  Meine Frau und ich waren auf einer Rundreise in den USA und waren drei Nächte in diesem Hotel in New Orleans. Das Zimmer ist zwar sehr in die Jahre gekommen, aber sauber das Personal super nett super entgegenkommt super freundlich. Das Frühstück ist für Amerikanische Verhältnisse sehr gut dafür, dass es sich hier um ein sehr günstiges Hotel handelt. Wir waren in weitaus teureren Hotels, die dreimal so teuer waren, aber dreimal schlechteres Frühstück hatten. Wir haben insgesamt acht Hotels besucht, wovon dieses das günstigste war aber letztendlich das Beste war, wenn man mal von dem einfachen, in die Jahre gekommen im Zimmer absieht.

  I am not sure why hotels put barn doors for the bathrooms, you can’t even shit in private. The free breakfast in the morning was gross. The sausage was way over cooked, and the omelet made me gag and i immediately spit it up. Two full size beds for 3 is way too small. The office chair in our room looks like it was grabbed from the dumpster, the seat is quite literally torn up. And the toilet tank is cracked with caulking used to “fix” it.

  I would advise anyone considering this hotel to book with caution. My experience was extremely disappointing, especially considering that I am a Silver member and expected a higher standard of quality and guest care. One of the elevators has severely cracked floor tile, which appears to be a potential safety hazard for guests. Upon checking into our first room, we found what appeared to be mold, vomit, or another type of stain on the head portion of the bed. The mattress was also completely worn out and uncomfortable. We requested a room change, and while the mattress in the second room was in better condition, there were still several maintenance issues. The toilet tank had a large crack and clearly needs replacement. The desk chair was approximately 75% ripped apart, and there were noticeable stains on the carpet. What was most frustrating was the response from one of the staff members. Rather than expressing concern or offering a sincere apology, he repeatedly stated that the property was a "branded hotel." I did not understand how that was relevant to the issues we experienced. Whether a hotel is branded or not, guest comfort, cleanliness, safety, and proper maintenance should always be the priority. Overall, the property appears to be in need of significant renovation and repairs. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this hotel in its current condition.

  Absolute Nightmare — Avoid at All Costs! I had an appalling experience at this property and cannot strongly enough advise against staying here. We received our key and went to the room. The hallway was dim and poorly lit, our actual room door looked like we were walking into a slum house. It had chunks of “stuff” (I don’t even know what to call it) stuck to the door and looked like it was mixed into the actual paint. The moment we walked into the room, we were hit with a foul odor that smelled like a combination of heavy mildew and sweaty socks. It was so overwhelming. The entire bed frame was also broken which caused the mattress to sink to one side. While contemplating what to do, while sitting on top it the bed, a bedbug crawled onto my arm. My husband killed it and flushed it. Finding live bugs in a bed is completely unacceptable for any commercial establishment. It is a massive hygiene and safety hazard. We left immediately. Save your money, peace of mind, and health—do not book a room here. I will say that the staff was nice and very sympathetic. We received a full refund, no questions.
