  This place is a dump. The outside curb appeal, the lobby,elevator the room was HORRIBLE it stunk the shower sink and toilet were nasty with blonde hair. The towels and linens were so dingy it looked as though they were used. I was afraid to sleep there the door didn't lock appropriately. To make matters worse they double charged me and I only stayed a couple of hours. I used a credit card for the first time there and after I left someone started shopping online with my card. BEWARE OF THE FILTH AS WELL AS THE SCAMS. THIS PLACE IS NOT FIT FOR AN ANIMAL.

  My experience was excellent. Angela checked us in and out. The customer service she provided was great. Friendly and kind. The overnight crew was nice as well. The rooms are nice and clean. The bed was so comfortable and the breakfast was good. 10 of out 10 for me and my son. I strongly recommend. Close enough to walk to the French Quarter, stores and Bourbon Street. It was good being outside of the tourist area and touring downtown.

  I needed a room after a long day of flying with the intention of landing and driving an hour more to my destination. My body simply could not do it and when I walked into this hotel at almost midnight, this manager Erskine was simply a gold star customer service expert. He helped me look up many things to ensure I was not in my room sick all night. The next morning I met the day time manager and she was amazing as well and helped me find my face spray that I left when I called. Great staff and will stay again. Thank you

  My friends and I stayed here for our staycation. We choose this location because of complimentary breakfast and because of its convenience. I had to move rooms 3 separate times. The first room I was in was not the room type I booked. Peyton, was very understanding and tried his best to accommodate me with what was left so he put me in an ADA room that had the floor space I needed. The A/C in that room was not working. I tried calling the front desk and the phone wasn’t working so I went down and let them know. I then texted the number back after receiving my welcome text and never got a response so I had to go back down to the front desk and let them know again. After about 2 hours the engineer finally came up and realized he didn’t had what was needed to fix the issue so we moved again. The third room was a lot better so my friends and I decided to stay. I can’t remember the name of the agent that assisted with the last room switch but he was bald and wore glasses. Both him and Peyton were VERY patient, kind, and hospitable. What I will say is that we found a random plate under one of the beds that had caused the room to have a weird smell. It had to have been there for a while because it was nothing but black stuff in it. The ice machines on every floor were not working except the one in the second floor (I didn’t try the first floor).

  I have had the worst experience ever at this Holiday Inn . Beginning with checking in the front desk clerk was ok considering he stated that he just started working their. Suppose to have had a king bed and they gave me a twin room with a be double bed so small a baby would roll out of it . Then Sunday morning when I check out discover an additional charge on my card for $35.49 and no one can explain why I was being charged . Could not be for parking as I informed them I paid across the street for parking. Told to call back and 3 days later still no one can answer the unexpected charge . Room had a musty smell and it might have been for the outdated carpet , breakfast bar did not have any juice as the machine was not working . Done called several times and the manager nor general manager has returned amy calls . Never stay their again. Today is August 7 and still have not been able to get any clarification on the charges nor have I heard from anyone in management. I have called repeatedly and have been giving the run around a complete mess with this Holiday Inn . I would not recommend anyone to go there
