The valet guy handed me my $20 tip back and said give it to someone else… was feeling weird about that. Then I realized they damaged my car keys. That’s wild…. Feeling scummy after coming here. But the bartender and everyone else were super nice there’s probably other places for me to just get sparkling water tho. I was really just coming in because I trust fs in every other city. Stopping through on the way to Disney world… was on a fast and wanted to valet my Miata and still feel like I could have an elevated rest stop to refresh. I’m not a buckees type. But tbh the phone operator and the valet person who approached me first left me so confused about what I may have done or said wrong then I remembered that’s not my concern and emotional labor and masking annoyance is literally their job… again the bartender and some other chair straightener in the bar seemed to ace that. They both handled slightly abrasive guests with ease. But I’ve definitely never been given a tip back like that. If I was confused let me be confused. Handle it in the back or when my back is turned give the driver from valet the tip for me. Especially when I’ve said this is for a tip. Why would you make an ordeal of coming back over to me to hand me back my crinkled up cash? Was it not enough money? Was it taken as an insult? It remains unclear. Even if it’s as simple as there is no cash drawer why can’t they just give it to the driver for me? I shouldn’t have to think of any of this and I wouldn’t if none of this happened. I don’t care how white lotus wanna be that sounds it’s true.

The service was warm, attentive, and professional from the moment we arrived. Every detail felt thoughtful, from the rooms to the dining to the overall atmosphere of the hotel.
It truly felt like a refined New Orleans experience. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable stay in the city.

I have SO much I can say and will say about planning a stay at this location. I planned a weekend stay for my aunt for my 50th birthday. I wanted to do something nice for her and show my appreciation.
I called the location to get some information and I spoke to a great agent that was eager to help and assist. She was great and answered alot of questions for me. When I called back I was fortunate enough to connect with Renard. This is not a slight to other agents that work at this location, but he was PHENOMENAL in EVERY ASPECT! He and I spoke that day and his energy, professionalism, suggestions, and help made me excited about the possibilities of having my ideas come true. Every time I called back, I told each agent I only wanted to work with him. I called back after his days off to finish planning. I planned this stay for a few weeks with alot of details and add ons for her that helped with to give an idea of why I called so much. Through the entire ordeal, he remained patient, energetic, and sincere. You can sense when the energy dies off after helping and speaking to someone many times, but every time I called.....it was as if it was our first time talking.
I selected the River View Executive Suite for her. She fell in love with it and could not stop thanking me. Renard was able to get some additional accessories added to the room to add more value to her experience.
All in all, if you EVER book at this location......do yourself and your family a favor and only work with Renard. I have the utmost confidence in EVERYONE else that works at this location.....but I am even MORE confident that HE will go above and beyond the call of duty. There is doing your job, doing your job well, and being an expert in your field and that is the best way to describe Renard. He is a spectacular addition to this location and team and he deserves the acknowledgement and financial contributions coming his way. Thank you again Renard..... you helped make one of the most important women in life birthday a huge success.

We stayed for four nights at the Four Seasons New Orleans while attending the ADA conference at the Convention Center. This was our first time here, and it was an absolutely amazing experience.
We had one-bedroom suite with a river view, looking down at the Riverwalk Outlet. The room was incredibly inviting, and the modern design—especially in the bathroom—made it feel luxurious and comfortable throughout.
What truly set this stay apart was the staff. Krishna, the duty manager on Day 1, went above and beyond to address my concerns quickly and professionally. During brunch, Michael from Miss Rever provided excellent, warm service every single day. The front desk team was also wonderful—I’m so sorry I forgot the young lady’s name at concierge (I know it starts with “M”), but she was fantastic.
The live music during brunch added such an inviting, upbeat atmosphere. Between the great location, the welcoming ambiance, and the exceptional service, this was a memorable trip.
Thank you to the entire team. We will definitely try to come back!

I stayed here for a one-night birthday trip in late May, booking through a travel advisor (preferred partner) which granted us excellent perks. This is easily the best high-end hotel in New Orleans. The hard product, rooms, and location are top-tier, and the pool deck is arguably the best in the entire state of Louisiana.
Pre-Arrival & Location
The Four Seasons app is fantastic; the chat feature is incredibly responsive. The concierge was warm and even secured us a fully booked table at Brennan's. We did have a minor hiccup where the concierge booked us at Miss River for a night the restaurant was actually closed for a private event, but it wasn't a dealbreaker.
The location at the foot of Canal Street in the CBD feels much safer and quieter than other local 5-star properties like the Ritz or the Roosevelt. You are right across from Caesars Casino, next to the Aquarium, and a 15-minute walk from Jackson Square. There is also a streetcar stop right outside for easy transit to the National WWII Museum.
Amenities & Lobby
The Chandelier Bar in the lobby is stunning—grand yet intimate. The service there is what inspired us to book a stay here. Thanks to our advisor, we secured a 10:30 AM early check-in after arriving by train. The front desk agent was a standout—incredibly friendly with a great sense of humor. The 5th-floor pool is the absolute highlight of the property. It’s a massive, 75-foot heated pool with a hot tub, great river views, comfortable loungers, and excellent poolside service with complimentary sunscreen and floats. The 24-hour gym is also top-of-the-line, overlooks the river, and is well-stocked with chilled towels and Gatorade.
The Room (Room 1437)
We booked a Deluxe City View Double with the "Rhythm of the City" promo ($430 total) and were upgraded to a Premier City View Double on the 14th floor. The room is spacious with a sleek, modern design and beautiful New Orleans-inspired plaster headboards. The bedside touch controls for the lighting and drapes are very convenient. The beverage center features a Nespresso and a premium kettle. The bathroom was the highlight of the room: a freestanding soaking tub by the window, a separate walk-in shower, a double vanity, and incredibly good-smelling L'Occitane toiletries. Turndown service at 9:00 PM was a bit lackluster (just tidied up and replaced pods/glassware without closing drapes or leaving chocolates), but it wasn't a true negative.
Dining
We used our $100 advisor credit for a room service lunch (two burgers, two club sandwiches, fries, and salads for ~$130 total). It arrived exactly on the dot with a beautiful white linen setup. Our advisor benefit also covered a $96 breakfast credit at Chemin à la Mer. The river-view terrace is gorgeous and the food (Southern breakfast, casserole, parfait) came out fresh and fast, though lunch felt like a slightly better overall value.
Final Thoughts
While the service has a few minor areas for improvement, the stunning physical property and incredible amenities blow the local competition away. We will absolutely be back.
