  We had a great stay, friendly service and fast check inn even with a long line. Kereece helped us at check inn and was friendly and helpful. She started our stay with a warm friendly experience, she’s a 5 star employee. All the staff were friendly and helpful kudos to the Crowne Plaza Astor! The one bump in the road was an elevator issue our first day but the staff quickly fixed the situation and passed out some drinks while we waited! Great customer service I can’t wait to visit again.

  I recently hosted my 9th Annual Goddess Restoration Experience & Luxe Marketplace at the Astor Crowne Plaza. While this was my ninth year producing the event, it marked my third year hosting at the Astor Crowne Plaza, and this year’s experience was truly exceptional. I had the pleasure of working with Roger, and I can honestly say he is the epitome of hospitality. He never allowed me to want for anything. Before I even realized I needed something, Roger was already there checking on me and making sure everything was in place. He consistently went above and beyond to ensure our event space had everything we needed for a successful weekend. No matter when I called or what I needed, he responded quickly with professionalism, kindness, and a genuine desire to help. In all nine years of hosting this event, Roger provided the best event support I’ve ever experienced, hands down. I also have to recognize the Director of Operations Byron C, who is the definition of outstanding leadership and hospitality. One of the qualities I admire most is his willingness to take ownership. He never points fingers or places blame. Instead, his approach is always, “I’ll take responsibility. How can we make this right?” That level of leadership is rare and speaks volumes about his character. I’ve had the privilege of working with Byron for two consecutive years, and every experience has been nothing short of amazing. He always checks in to make sure everything is going well and that I have the support I need. Together, Roger and Byron are truly the Dream Team. Their professionalism, responsiveness, teamwork, and commitment to excellence played a major role in the success of our event. They made me feel valued, supported, and confident every step of the way. Thank you both for going above and beyond. You are incredible ambassadors for the Astor Crowne Plaza, and I look forward to working with you again in the future! Patrice, my sales manger came on board midway and she was prompt to respond to my concerns and tried to make sure everything was aligned with my plan. Overall the event was a success!

  ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had an outstanding stay at the Crown Plaza Hotel in New Orleans. A special thank you to Byron, the General Manager, for providing exceptional leadership and truly professional service. From check-in to check-out, every interaction reflected a commitment to guest satisfaction. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained, making for a relaxing stay. Byron and his team went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. Their attention to detail, hospitality, and professionalism made a lasting impression. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting New Orleans and look forward to staying here next after year for Essence Festival.

  **⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4/5 Stars** This hotel is absolutely beautiful and perfectly located! It's right off Canal Street, next to Bourbon Street, and truly in the heart of everything. Restaurants, shopping, drinks, spas, entertainment, and so many attractions were all within walking distance, which made exploring New Orleans incredibly convenient. This was my first time visiting New Orleans, and I came for a Line Dance Convention. The hotel accommodated our events wonderfully. The ballrooms were spacious and versatile—perfect for dining, workshops, and, of course, plenty of dancing! 💃 While my overall experience was very positive, I did have a few concerns, which is why I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5. The property could benefit from some upgrades and renovations in certain areas. That said, the maintenance team responded promptly and worked diligently to address every issue that was brought to their attention, and I truly appreciated their professionalism and effort. I would also like to recognize Chief Director of Operations, Byron Cerre, for the way he handled my feedback and suggestions regarding potential improvements. He made me feel genuinely heard and valued as a guest, took accountability, and ensured that we left with a positive impression. That level of customer service deserves to be acknowledged. My only additional recommendation would be to consider adding more housekeeping staff, particularly when hosting large events, conferences, and conventions, to help maintain the high standard of service guests expect. Overall, this hotel offers a wonderful location, beautiful event spaces, and a management team that truly cares about the guest experience. I would certainly consider staying here again on a future visit to New Orleans.

  Stayed at Crowne Plaza French Quarter, lobby was beautiful and front desk was friendly and professional. When you get into the guest rooms they are needing to be remodeled. My room was in need of this, there was peeling paint, curtains needing to be replaced. If the door was supposed to be fire Rated then it missed the purpose. The door was hanging crooked. Front entry light didn't work properly. The bed didn't have a bedspread only 2 sheets with a thin blanket in between. The mattress was so hard and uncomfortable that I couldn't sleep. The bathroom was the nicest looking room. I could not get the wifi to connect. If you are looking for luxury this is not it. Especially for the price.
