  My husband and I traveled to visit his family in natchitoches and decided to stay at the holiday inn instead of our usual Fairfield by Marriott and must say we were very impressed by this property. Everything was perfect from the moment we walked in to the following morning where we had a delicious breakfast. The staff was so hospitable and friendly. We were greeted with a smile and a willingness to accommodate by Every single employee we met which made us feel welcome and appreciated. However, the one and only thing that stood out in a negative and surprising way was the extreme lack of professionalism portrayed by the stubby redheaded lady with glasses I assume to be the general manager. I don't know what would possess someone or cause them to think its appropriate to speak to an employee in the manner she did. We watched her reprimand, berate and speak so condescendingly to the young lady right next to the breakfast area in front of many guests for all of them to hear. She seemed to almost enjoy what she was doing and as a hotel manager myself I found this behavior appalling and even embarrassing for her to treat her staff this way. The lack of leadership skills and self awareness shown through this woman's actions tells me she needs a different line of work.

  Got a room last minute, staff was friendly and so very helpful gave recommendations on where to eat and places I should go or skip over, thanks Nate. Room is very clean and very nice and was freezing cold when I walked in, just the right temperature for me!! Would recommend, will be back....
