  We had an absolutely spectacular experience with this establishment. Terrific rooms with well-stocked kitchens, a delightful pool, clean and well-run hotel and the absolutely most lovely and helpful staff. This was a homerun for our family and we can’t recommend it enough for folks passing through with small children! Thank you!

  We have stayed at this hotel before when visiting the casinos in Lake Charles and it hasn't been an issue. 8/8/2026 - we decided last minute for a weekend trip to the casinos at Lake Charles and immediately went to this hotel since we felt it was good for the rate and offered a breakfast. No issues with check-in. The Room - - TV was not working, no service of any type. - the bed was positioned too close to the TV stand making it difficult to get between both. My partner banged his foot late night when going to the RR. The Breakfast - - Typical breakfast items for a hotel like this when it's free. - My issue were what appeared to be older 3 teenagers or maybe very young adults who huddled around one area of the food, specifically the waffle station. I mean they wouldn't move. They kept making waffles and no other guest could use the waffle bar. Then they started serving themselves food, and would just stand at the food area eating off their plates, hoovering over the food buffet and would continue filling their plates and eating, "rinse / repeat". This went on for well over 30- minutes. I suspect, they either live at this hotel, or they know the lady who handles the food because she seemed to chat with them. Very tacky and inconsiderate, but you can't say anything because it's taken as offensive and leads to other issues. I did not even bother to tell the front desk lady because again, I know it would have led to other issues. We won't be going back to this hotel as there are plenty more to choose from.

  Cleanliness in the common areas is an issue. Tables and floor around the breakfast area were not kept clean. There were small bags of trash in front of several rooms that were never picked up. At least the room was clean.
