When I checked in, the front desk manager told me they had only reserved a room with one king bed. My son is already a teenager, and he wouldn’t be able to sleep if he had to share a bed with someone else. So my son and I barely slept all night. When I went to take a shower, I couldn’t find a bath mat. The front desk employee told me they were out of them. I filed a complaint with Booking.com, and their online customer service representative told me they would respond within 24 hours. Perhaps they assumed I was Asian based on my last name, but it’s been over fifty hours now, and neither Booking.com nor this hotel has responded. Amazing staff, super friendly, I was around a couple of times when guests got a little lippy with the staff and they handled it with professionalism and kindness which you won’t always find! GREAT breakfast. I stayed 2 weeks and they were switching up what was being served which I appreciated! The room was clean and super spacious, the pool was nice and had plenty of seating, the snack options were good. My favorite part of all? Every night I’d go sit outside near the dumpster and watch the raccoons in the trees and listen to the cicadas sing! I recommend this to anyone wanting to stay in Lafayette!

We had a problem with our 3rd party booking agent and she was very helpful with helping us book a room at the last minute. She walked us through the process, was patient, kind and checked on us afterwards. This is ABOVE AND BEYOND customer service at its finest. Unfortunately, the manager, Brandon did not note in our account that we would be arriving late. This caused us to be charged as a no show. This was disappointing. Guest Service employees like Mellissa R., should be valued by this company. We truly appreciate her! Because of her I am a rewards member! Thank you Mellisa.♥️
