    We checked in at BW Vermillion River Inn & Suites from Monday, 6/15/2026, to Friday, 6/19/2026. Confirmation # 731674660. Unfortunately, this was the most disappointing experience we've had at a BW property. Mitzy, who assisted us during check-in, was pleasant and professional, and we have no complaints about that process. Initially, our room seemed fine with no issues. However, we encountered a problem with the outside entrance door on the side of the building, which the lock was broken and could easily be opened by anyone.  This posed a significant safety concern. Despite being assured that the part would be fixed by Tuesday, it remained unresolved throughout our stay.   Upon further investigation, we discovered that the door had been broken for at least two weeks based on posted online reviews. Additionally, on Monday night, our air conditioner started making a loud squeeling noise comparable to a fan belt on a car . The following day, I approached the front desk to request a room change due to the noise. Hannah was present at the front desk, with Dana on speakerphone. I explained the issue with the air conditioner to Hannah, but Dana dismissed it by suggesting that the noise was normal. I insisted that the noise was unusually loud and not typical. Dana then said " Hannah go and check it." I went back to the room (221) and recorded the noise.  I let Hannah and Dana know about the noise around 5:30, she did not show up till 7:49 with orders to record the noise and send it to Dana.  I told Hannah I recorded it if you want to hear it. She said" Dana wants us to record the noise. Don't understand why my recording wasn't good enough or why Hannah couldn't just move us to another room. Around 9:00 she said they were going to move us to another room. It took 4 1/2 hours to get moved to room 124!! I felt like they didn't believe us or  just didn't care!!! In room 124 the TV was not working.  I let Hannah know right away.  She said she would be down to reset it. About 30 minutes later  I called her and she said sorry she got busy would be right down. About an hour later my husband went to the desk  to see what was going on.  Hannah was BSing with a lady.  I say BSing because when she realized I was there she immediately stepped aside.  The woman then went outside.  Hannah became very belligerent and combative and told him "ya'll act like ya'll are the only people in the hotel"  When he was coming back to the room he witnessed the woman in shorts and heels knocking on another room down from ours saying "Housekeeping" with no cart or cleaning supplies.  Looked like we were staying in a Brothel than a hotel. Hannah never showed up to fix the TV.  The next morning I told Jessica at the desk about the TV.  It took her maybe 15 minutes from the time she was notified to the time she had it fixed. I told Jessica that I wanted speak with Dana.  She said she would let her know. It is now Monday 6/22 and have yet to hear from Dana. We also call the main customer service number for corporate and have yet to hear back. I feel like we were irrelevant and they only care about the ESS  company they have staying in the hotel.  This company has taken over the pool area for their personal use. This place feels more like a cheap motel and a not BW hotel!! If this is how BW treats their gold rewards customers I will take my business elsewhere!!! I expect to hear back from you ASAP!!!     Excellent stay! The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast was fresh and well-stocked. The hotel was well-maintained, and the overall experience exceeded my expectations. I would definitely stay here again!

    Checked in and customer service is a plus no problem in that area. Got to the room and there was no stopper for the tub and I told the front desk clerk and he said maintenance would come and check it out nobody came. I asked for room service since we had it for 2 days. Left and came back room was still in the same order. I suggest you go with an extra traveler and not solo to many unfamiliar face walking around and up and down the hallways. The right entrance door you could just open without a key very dangerous. 5 in the morning and you see piles of sheets and towels down the hallway. I did housekeeping before it’s no way possible guest supposed to walk out they rooms and see that.
