I rarely leave negative reviews, but this was by far the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. When we arrived, we waited about five minutes before anyone came to the front desk. The employee eventually walked in from somewhere else in the building. He wasn’t wearing a name tag, appeared unprofessional, never smiled, and acted as though we were inconveniencing him rather than checking into the hotel. Although this is advertised as a non-smoking property, the lobby, hallways, and rooms smelled strongly of marijuana. Our first room was unacceptable. The bathroom floor was completely soaked, with water seeping under the flooring into the room. There were no towels, only half a roll of toilet paper, and the carpet had clearly not been vacuumed. The room had a strong musty odor that made us suspect mold or significant moisture damage. Our travel companions requested a different room immediately. We tried to tolerate ours, but eventually the smell became unbearable. When we went back to the front desk, the employee offered no apology or concern. The only comment he made was, “Have you guys ever stayed in Louisiana before?” as if these conditions were normal! Maybe for him. His appearance matched the hotel. The replacement room was only slightly better. It also smelled unpleasant, had towels this time, but no hand soap, and there were no chairs despite having two beds. The next morning, breakfast was just as disappointing. The sausage appeared undercooked, the milk had spoiled, and the eggs were watery and tasted terrible. I decided to make oatmeal instead, thinking it would be a safe option, only to discover the hot water dispenser didn’t work. From check-in to checkout, nearly every part of this stay fell well below even basic expectations for cleanliness, maintenance, customer service, and food quality. The condition of the rooms, especially the moisture issues and odor, raises serious concerns about the property’s upkeep. I hope management addresses these problems because, in its current condition, I cannot recommend staying here. I see many of the other reviews followed by the same generic apology from the “owner.” There’s really no need to respond with another canned apology. The issues here go far beyond unmet expectations. This property needs significant attention. Stay away. Drive another 30 minutes, choose another hotel, or even sleep in your car (but not this area). You’ll be much better off.

Sketchy people loitering outside in cars, sitting on curbs, walking around parking lot. I did NOT feel safe and was glad I had my dog with me. Place REEKS of pot. In te lobby, halls and in my room. TV was unreliable and kept freezing. Find a different place to stay.

We checked in and then immediately checked out within 10 minutes. When we got there, it reeked like cigarette smoke. The Front desk gave us a room with people all ready in it. We got our second key and went to our room. As soon as we set down we noticed blood stains on the side of the bed. We found throw up stains as well.
