THE EV CHARGING STATION IS NOT OPERATIONAL!!!! DO NOT WAIT until you get to LAPALCE NO TO CHARGE! This charger is luster on every CHARGING APP AS FUNCTIONAL! It is not! THe next station is 25 miles fromLaplace NO. The staff was wonderful by discounting my room bec8i had to stay an extra day. There is a neighborhood charging station a few miles away and is only for emergency purposes only. The staff helped me as much as they could. The pool was a mess on SATURDAY, but I couldn't be ANGRY! The staff and MANAGER WERE AMAZING! The hotel is very functional, clean, & modern and in a quiet area.Great place for a romantic getaway or a big crowd.

Highly recommend for a hotel in the 60 mile radius of La Place!I stayed in a squeaky clean, recently remodeled, wonderful suite room. Had full size frig with icemaker, full size microwave, mini kitchen (without dishes), dining bar with stools, storage, shelves & 2 comfortable queen size beds.

For the past 5 weeks I stayed at this location for work trip. Hotel looked great on the inside and out. Full size refrigerator and 2 burned stove. I travel for work all over the country. This work trip required me to work night shift as I have worked nights I many other cities while traveling. After a few days I went to consult with the so called front office manager MYLES PETERS about setting up a convient time for me to get my room cleaned, that did not affect my sleep time during the day because of my night shift hours. MYLES PETERS made a smart remark about having the do not disturb sign on the door. I responded with that I know about that type of sign on the door and that I am trying to see if we can work something out. Informed MYLES PETERS that I leave around 3pm each day and if that was okay. Agreement was made. Room was cleaned that day. Days later maid knocked on my door awakening me during the day, but telling them please come after 3pm. After 5 weeks I only had maid service 3 times out of stay. I guess MYLES PETERS did not properly manage that. At the beginning of my 5th week stay on the date of May 12th, I received an Amazon package at the front desk. Leaving for work I go to the front desk and MYLES PETERS was at the desk. I informed that I am picking up a package. I started that it just arrived and MYLES PETERS said "hey don't be rushing me" . I said what are you talking about, I am simply conversating with you. Then more insults was said. I stood , my ground and insulted back and stated the horrible management service he was doing. In all my years of using hotels accomodations for work trips I have never had a so called Front office manager talk to me like that. I walked out before any violence happened. I also asked several times to ,over rooms because of equipment failure. Immediately after the back and forth words I called corporate office to make a complaint. The customer service person over the phone gave me a case number and was supposed to email me a case number but I never received. On May 14th I went to the front desk to talk to Deanna Bryd ( General Manager ) of the hotel. Talked with her and informed her of her rude front desk manager MYLES PETERS. While complaining about the problems, MYLES PETERS comes from the back calling me a liar and trying to intimidate me. I then looked at Deanna Bryd and said "that's your front desk manager, that's professional" ? She then tells him to go to the back. I informed Deanna Bryd that I am checking out of the hotel in the morning and will never stay at the establishment again! I found another hotel that treats me with respect.

We were in town from Minnesota for a funeral and Stayed from April 24th -April 29th when I chose to check out instead of spend anymore of my money with this particular hotel. I spend nearly $700 for those days. After my initial 2 days I wanted to be changed over to the “weekly rate”. I went to the lobby Saturday night & again Sunday morning about this because Sunday was my initial checkout day. I made The employee April aware that I would be staying throughout the week and she asked me to tap my card to complete transaction and I did but instead of starting me off with the weekly rate on April 26th she just extended me for an additional day at $132. I asked and was advised to wait for the manager the next day. Same thing happened April 27th another $132 NO MANAGER AVAILABLE TO SPEAK TO. I left my name & number on a notepad with front desk clerk asking for a manager to call me NO ONE EVER CALLED. Again on April 28th another $132 NO MANAGER AVAILABLE TO SPEAK TO before checkout time. I even called the best western customer relations and reservations number NUMEROUS TIMES DAILY and they stated NOTHING could be done to override hotel billing although they tried calling and emailing the hotel management themselves. Finally spoke with the male manager around 3pm in Lobby on April 28th and he refused to backdate and adjust my rate stating he just “wont do it”. I asked to backdate and start my weekly rate off from April 26th for 7 days SINCE I WAS ACTIVELY IN THE LOBBY EVERY MORNING FROM APRIL 26th trying to extend for a week. He said I would have to start from April 29th and pay over $600 upfront now. Ridiculous right? Approximately $400 was spent in the 3 days of charges I was trying to get on a weekly rate. So after stating my case he said he could give me a rate of $90nightly for the additional 3 nights I needed because “he was tired of hearing about it”. Another employee sat in the lobby stating how even they have to pay to stay at the hotel when they need to AS IF I WAS ASKING FOR A FREE STAY INSTEAD OF A CORRECTION OF AN EMPLOYEES MISTAKE WHICH WAS GOING TO COST ME ADDITIONAL $ I SHOULDN’T HAVE TO SPEND. I just spent over $500 the previous month in March staying at this same hotel while in town for 4 days. I felt disrespected and belittled with the way I was spoken to and the situation was handled. I wont be spending my money with this hotel brand again. Checking out on the 29th and spending my money at a different hotel for the remainder of the nights was THE BEST DECISION I COULD HAVE MADE.
