  They don’t adhere to the IHG rules; they have their own. Check in by 5 PM, or your reservations will be canceled. They’ll call you and harass you about the time you’re checking into the hotel (🏨) so they can raise the rate and give the room to the next guest. They were extremely discriminatory, rude, argumentative, combative, and I wouldn’t recommend staying here. I want to give this location a -0 however the staff are very, very rude. Very unprofessional. I know in a couple of years this will not be an IHG hotel. I’m so happy to say I was able to book a Marriott hotel in Metairie Louisiana. I was able to book at 5 PM and arrive at 10 PM while traveling for work purpose. So thanks twice about staying here at this hotel they booked a lot of locals that live in the area and the locals booked the hotel out for weeks and weeks and months at a time. Asst. General Manager Ms Tyranisha is very rude an unprofessional in person, emails and over the phone ad well

  This hotel was a welcome respite from the noise of the French quarter, and only a 15-20 minute drive depending on jazzfest traffic. The breakfast and coffee in the mornings were excellent. Tyranisha at the front desk was kind, gracious and helpful, and our room was clean with everything we needed. We were very happy here.

  I tend to be very selective when it comes to staying in motels/hotels and I am happy to say that this Holiday Inn Express in Marrero more than met my expectations. The staff is super friendly and welcoming and the breakfast offered is great. This place is very clean and I had no problems during my stay. I would book here again without hesitation.

  10/10 highly recommended, but you do hear people in the hall very clearly and in their rooms.

  This Holiday Inn Express feels like a throwback- the staff is friendly and courteous and the property and rooms are clean and well-kept. In fact, they cleaned my room each night of my three night stay. I can't remember the last time post-COVID that happened. The bed was comfortable and the TV had a wide selection of on-demand movies, which I like to have playing in the background as I work/go to sleep. The pool was open, but I didn't use it and they had a workout room, which I didn't use either, but would've like to. I'd definitely stay here again.
