  Paid extra for a king size city view but got this as my view, rooms are nice, limited staff is available, so check in took long

  My stay occurred in April, and it has taken me months to muster the courage to write this review. The events that occurred during my stay left me feeling violated and unsafe, and I struggled for a long time with anxiety, fear, and recurring thoughts about what happened. Even now, revisiting the experience is difficult. On my first night, I went to the front desk around 9pm because the coffee maker in my room was not compatible with the pods provided. The front desk employee insisted that I remain downstairs for approximately 30 minutes while a staff member (who was busy painting) attended to the issue. During that time, she even asked me to watch the front desk while she left. When my daughter and I returned to our room, both of our room keys suddenly stopped working despite having worked minutes earlier. We had to return to the desk for new keys. After re-entering the room, I noticed my purse had been moved. A maintenance employee later came to the room, left, and then returned holding my wallet, claiming it had been found in the elevator. This made no sense to me because my wallet had been inside my purse in my room. When I checked my wallet, I discovered that my cash and a debit card were missing. Within moments, I received a call from the front desk asking whether I had received my wallet. The entire sequence of events left me feeling extremely uncomfortable, unsafe, and violated. Because I did not feel secure, I kept my room under "Do Not Disturb" for the remainder of my stay and took additional precautions until I left the property. To make matters worse, I was also incorrectly charged valet fees for multiple nights despite only using valet once. Although part of the charge was removed, I later discovered I was still not fully reimbursed. I reported these concerns to IHG and was assigned a case number. The only response I received was a phone call from someone identifying herself as the property manager with an eerily similar voice to the front desk woman that had me stay downstairs. I requested escalation beyond the property level but never received a response from the IHG hotel company. Travelers can draw their own conclusions, but based on my experience, I cannot recommend this hotel. The lack of security, the unexplained circumstances surrounding my wallet, the billing issues, and the absence of meaningful follow-up from the hotel management left me deeply disappointed and violated.

  I stayed at this hotel for a business trip and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. The customer service was poor throughout my stay. I asked if I could get some hot water, but despite having an on-site restaurant, the staff refused. The hotel also did not have a business center or a computer available for guests to use. When I checked in around midnight, my room key did not work. The manager was unable to provide a new key immediately and had to personally accompany me to my room and unlock the door using his master key. The room itself was extremely small, and the air conditioning was not functioning properly. As a result, the room was hot, humid, and uncomfortable. Overall, the lack of service, maintenance issues, and poor guest accommodations made for a frustrating stay.

  Very nice small room downtown. The decor is awesome and the service was phenomenal. Have to pay for parking, which was quite expensive for overnight. In the middle of downtown, lots of activity. Should really only stay here if you have a need to be near all the activities. Was not really appropriate for my needs- just somewhere to sleep at night. A little more high end than that.
