Super comfy room, great staff, reasonable rates. Right in the middle of downtown, I walked everywhere. Can't really ask for more! Would definitely stay again.

I stayed at the Indigo Hotel on April 25, 2026, and this was my first time visiting. When I checked in, I used valet service and asked the front desk associate if I could leave my car parked in the front. I was told that was fine. From my room, I had a clear view of my car and checked on it several times throughout the evening.
The next morning, after waking up, I noticed my car had been moved. I called valet and asked them to bring it around. When I received my vehicle, I drove straight to church. As I was getting out, I walked around the back of my car and noticed a scratch along the side, with what appeared to be concrete dust still on it.
I immediately contacted the hotel and was told there is a “park valet at your own risk” policy. This was never communicated to me at any point. Had I been aware of that, I would have chosen to park elsewhere rather than risk damage to my vehicle.
What was most disappointing was the lack of accountability or concern. I was repeatedly told there was nothing they could do, and no effort was made to resolve the situation or offer any form of compensation.
I would strongly advise anyone staying at this hotel to be cautious about using their valet service, especially if you value the condition of your vehicle. I have previously stayed at the Hilton across the street and the Watermark, both of which offer valet, and I have never experienced this level of disregard or poor customer service.

I usually stay at Hilton and Marriott hotels, but decided to give this Indigo a try.
The hotel was quite new or recently renovated. It had a clear design language that made the hotel seem fun and lively.
Except when we arrived, the staff were anything but. There were two staffs there , and both saw us but decided to go back to their phone and computer. When we talked to them they were not rude, they just felt tired. The energy level of the staff next morning were better, though still notably more passive and less approachable than hotels of similar tier, with the exception of one young man who was actively helping with a smile. I’m sure service experience varies by each individual staff member, but overall I feel the management of this Indigo can be improved.
And back to about the room: they were really small, and the air conditioner was very loud.

I was in town for the VIP premiere of "The Murder That Never Happened," a documentary on the true story of a man wrongly convicted. I needed a room that was convenient to the Manship Theater and several offices that I needed to visit. The Indigo was 2 blocks from EVERY one of them, convenient to the Riverfront, and had a wonderful restaurant. I got their Standard Queen room, which was a good value at $134.00 per night. They held my reservation for me as they close for the day at 10:00pm. My travel forced me to arrive in Baton Rouge at 12:15 at night! I called them en route and explained and they held it for me. Excellent service, wake-up call, excellent cleaning staff.
