This hotel was clean. Rooms have been updated and everything worked correctly. Breakfast had good options. Workers were friendly. Parking lot is well lit at night. Only downside parking is a little tight and you have a lot of selfish 🤡 who drive huge pick up trucks that don’t know how to park.

Never Again at this hotel. First off, we paid $140 on USAA website for a King Room When we got there, we were put in a 2 queen bed room. I went downstairs and asked why and they said because they were out of king rooms. The night girl also said it only cost 96 dollars, so I was like ok then. She told me to come back in the morning and get a receipt. I tried to get a receipt to show the 96 and the girl told me that they couldn't give me one because I got it from USAA. She said the room would be 140, what I paid and not 96. She said they get 96 and USAA gets the other 44 for service fee. Well, the double room was cheaper than the King room that they didn't have. Second, the people upstairs kept stomping all night long. I called the desk and it never stopped until around 1am. Third, at 2 am people started hollering down the hallway back and forth. I may have slept 2 hrs all night long. I usually stay at Holiday Inn but will never stay this one again. Update 9/29: I spoke with your manager (Tori) on 9/28 at the Holiday Inn Express, Alexandria and she was rude as can be. She could not care any less about my situation and just kept pushing it off like it didn't matter to anyone. Please dont reply saying you care, when your manager clearly showed she did not care at all.

Good hotel, exit is tricky with traffic. One of the worst breakfast ever, though. Scorched eggs, mealy sausage links, rubbery potatoes, hockey puck biscuits, clumpy gravy, out of half and half, out of cinnamon rolls, out of pancake batter, and oatmeal that could be used as plaster with an inch of butter on top that no amount of stirring could fix. We pick hotels with breakfast included as a consideration when traveling, so will not be staying here again even though the room was comfortable.
