- JGJose GomezMay 6, 20265.0First time being in Winchester and Holiday Inn Express gave an excellent first impression. Not only was my room clean, smoke free/bug free, but the room is spacious. I have the pleasure in staying in one of the king bed suite rooms and I’m love’n it. Very comfortable mattress with fresh clean sheets and comforter. What impressed me the most is the bathroom you don’t get a dinky little bottle of shampoo, conditioner and body wash or all in one like most places. They have actually personal bottles of them and it’s Dove 🕊️ product. Well done 👏. Bonus I’m right in walking distance with the local movie theater, a shopping center that has 5 below many others and speedway gas station across the street (very convenient). Also there’s a Chinese restaurant called Taste Of China I’d recommend trying them out carry out, buffet or door dash.

An updated and modern Holiday Inn with clean rooms and great service. We didn't experience their breakfast due to a last minute employee call out, but that wasn't a make it or break it for us. They were very apologetic and still provided many options to still get something for the morning. Only negative we had was our room had an odd smell to it. (Recently used bathroom or well water kind of smell) It didn't ruin our stay but was noticed.

But the morning staff seemed to hate life, and wanted to argue with me over some maintenance items I tried to inform them about. Maybe that's why their elevator has been broken for weeks. They'd rather argue over it than fix it.
