  The location was super convenient and close by to everything, all the fun things for kids, food, retail, and everything. They service was exceptional, staff was very friendly, towels was always stocked in the pool area, had clean towels, breakfast was different everyday and still had kid friendly items, it was always hot and delicious. The rooms was very clean, spotless. One of the cleanest hotels I have been too. The only complaint would be only the one elevator working during our stay and we was on the 3rd floor where they was doing renovations so it smelled like paint in the hallway but inside the room didnt smell. Overall I give it a 10/10 and recommend it. We will definitely be back when we go back to the area this is where we will stay. Also the complimentary soap and shampoo in the bathrooms is dove. I loved that it wasnt cheap stuff.

  Quiet, very convenient to Riverbend Music Center, easy to get to from the interstate. Also, there is convenient stores and food close by (within 2 miles), they also had a great and free breakfast, pool was clean and the gym was ver clean and equipment in great condition.

  I WISH THIS HAS A 0 STARS OPTION Our experience at the Holiday Inn in Wilder, Kentucky was absolutely terrible. After driving more than 5 hours with our kids, we arrived late in the evening expecting to check into the room we had reserved. Instead, we were told that our room was no longer available and that the only option was to pay an additional $100 for a different room. With two exhausted children and no realistic alternative that late at night, we felt pressured into paying the extra cost. Unfortunately, it only got worse. The room we were given was filthy, poorly maintained, and had visible mold. It was completely unacceptable and not a place where we felt comfortable or safe allowing our family to stay. The condition of the room was so bad that we decided to leave that same night rather than spend a single night there. After paying more than our original reservation, we still couldn’t stay because of the hotel’s lack of cleanliness and poor standards. This was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences we’ve ever had. Between the unexpected extra charge, the unsanitary room, and the inconvenience of having to find another place to stay late at night with tired children, our trip got off to a horrible start. I would strongly encourage anyone considering this hotel to stay somewhere else. Save yourself the frustration and choose a hotel that honors reservations and provides clean, safe accommodations.

  NOT EVEN CLOSE TO A 4.5 rating Horrible experience. We checked in late , like 9pm. The first impression was bad, no one at the front desk, kids screaming and running in the lobby. Then an ambulance came because someone was having a medical emergency. Imagine checking in and having that first impression. Then when I check in, they said I did not book a 2 bed, ok I agreed and had to pay 100 dollars more for a 2 beds. When we go in to the room. The hallway was gross. Construction wall and wallpaper falling off. Go into the room and the smell was horrible. The wall had patches of paint and the worst thing the bathroom was FILLED with mold and parts were out. It’s like the housekeeper doesn’t even cleaned. As a previous housekeeper YOU SHOULD use bleach to clean the bathrooms or definitely something that cleans this mold. It was just a horrible experience. And the location not even great. There is nothing next to it. DONT STAY There. Thankfully I was able to cancel and relocate to another hotel but had to do that with two small children at 10pm was very stressful and difficult.
