  Stayed over for one night here on my way from Wisconsin to North Carolina. The hotel looks like it is being remodeled and the rooms look like they have been updated. But the hotel is damp. It smells damp, the carpet and sheets feel that way. The two doors to get into my section didn't work right. The outside one locked behind you and didn't accept the key card and the inside door stuck and was almost impossible to open. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast looked nice. I think I'd skip it next time.

  I really wanted to like this hotel because its obvious they are remodeling. The staff is nice and the breakfast is great. However- there is no excuse for the dingy thread bare sheets I slept on for 4 nights. I hope those sheets went straight to trash so no one else is subjected to them. Our last night FINALLY we got nice sheets. And then the tub was so disgustingly dirty.( I have pic of it) I wanted to ask the front desk when I checked out has she personally seen the tub in our room but she never even asked me how my stay was. That spoke volumes to me. She already knew what my room was like !!! What's sad is I have read the other reviews describing the same room I had. The disgusting musty/smokey smell. I can understand if we dropped in at last minute but we had these reservations for weeks. And all the exact complaints before me have fallen on deaf ears. Thanks for reminding me why I went to staying in competitor hotels years ago.

  What a quaint and quiet hotel that I found at random after being forced off the road on my road trip due to bad car accidents on the highway. I truly enjoyed my stay here. Clean, quite, staff is great, id stop here again if i had to

  My girlfriend and I always stay here when we visit family, about 5 times a year, BUT I will NEVER return to this motel because of the management! The older dude with the glasses, he has worked there I know the last year and a half, that's how long we've been going there anyways. But I was getting coffee and getting ready to leave when I heard him talking to who I'm assuming is a housekeeper or maid, he had no respect for the fact that he was speaking to a woman, let alone the poor woman wasn't arguing with him or anything and when she finally came out of his office area, she was crying and I felt horrible for her. It's one thing to have an issue with an employee but it's another thing to sit and talk to them like that in front of people especially guest of the motel they work at! A very clearly heard the whole entire conversation he was jumping on her for not having proper uniform on and she was just telling him she could not afford it till she got paid my girlfriend felt so bad for her that she gave her $10 and just said it was a tip for cleaning our room. That poor girl was humiliated and that old dude with glasses is nothing but a bully and I will never return to that Motel because of him! They lost a good customer ✌️

  Very nice rooms and so clean. I slept like a baby. Huge king size bed and the AC is cold.... Adjustable to your liking. Breakfast available till I think 11 am? Good breakfast, I had mine to go. Lol every one is so nice here and love the location right near 65. I'm writing this review after checking into the best Western for the second time. I was here a month ago and liked it so much that my wife made reservations again for my second visit to the Louisville area. Shepherdsville is really close for any Louisville appointment/work and I would say staying here in shepherdsville would definitely be a plus compared to going into Louisville for a room. I did not rate service because I never needed anything but when I told the clerk at the desk about a light switch not working right he was on it. Rooms are really clean. Pictures are of the room I had and as you can see I parked right outside my room. I could see my car easily.
