- JTJim Taylor6 days ago4.0On our way home and needed to stop for a night. This was our choice, even though we'd been repeatedly disappointed by this chain. IHG, you could use this location to train your service people! Not only was it clean, it FELT CLEAN. I stepped up to the counter to check in, wondered if there would be a room upgrade, and was informed by Charles that there would be. After no upgrades, even though we are platinum plus many times in a row, it was a nice change to get that one perk. The room was lovely. It was also very clean. There was ZERO algae, mildew, or mold of any kind, in the bathroom. The bathroom was properly maintained and free of caulk over caulk over caulk in an attempt to hide other issues. Charles, at the front desk, was extremely accommodating and very pleasant. The IHG chain was about to lose us after several disappointing stays. We'll stay on for now and see what happens later this week when we may need to stay at another during a hospital visit. We don't ask for much...a clean room free of mold & mildew, good TV in the evening, a fresh, clean bed, cheerful, kind, accommodating staff, and good coffee in the morning.This location got it all right. Hopefully, it will continue.

The only reason I gave four stars for services because we tried to reach the front desk several times late in the evening to report a maintenance issue and no one ever answered. This hotel is in a great location and we will definitely stay here again. They also strictly enforce quiet hours between 10:00 and 7:00 which I appreciate so much.
