  Very weird entrance into hotel. The employees were extremely nice. Easy check in. Room was a tad dated but clean. Breakfast was a little below hotel breakfast standards but okay. We would stay here again.

  I called your Holiday Inn Express to inquire about reserving a room for the evening. The staff member was courteous and informed me that the hotel does not rent rooms to guests with a local ID. I understand the employee was simply conveying hotel policy, and my comments are directed solely at the policy itself. As a lifelong local resident and Kentucky State Certified General Real Estate Appraiser, I found the policy disappointing. There are many legitimate reasons local residents may need a hotel room—home repairs, power outages, travel logistics, anniversaries, or simply enjoying an evening without driving home. A blanket prohibition based solely on a guest’s address treats responsible local customers the same as those who may have caused problems in the past. I believe there are more balanced ways to manage risk, such as requiring a valid credit card, security deposit, or enhanced identification. I wanted to share this feedback because, in my case, the policy cost the hotel a paying customer.

  Good location. Great breakfast. Close to restaurants. Great friendy staff and those cookies are great. The only downside as mentioned by reviews, was the room was musty smelling. I am very sure that if I mentioned to the staff that they would have changed my room. We were just very tired and needed some sleep. Also, do not order pizza from Pizza Hut if you expect to have it delivered on time, as ordered, and hot!

  It's dated for the price. The first room we were put in had a terrible fish like odor. The evening staff offered us air fresheners haha. Next day the room had a full service and still the aweful smell. The Friday crew was amazing. Apologies I were given and a new room was given to us. So service was impeccable on the day shift. All in all the place needs some work and prices should reflect

  It was one of the worst Holiday inn's that I've stayed at. Room 113 had a strong musty smell. Looked and felt dirty and no working ice machine's. Way over priced! I'm a diamond member with ihg and would not recommend.
