- CCCRC4 days ago5.0Good location. Safe area. What you expect from an IHG location. Construction in the area makes things a bit difficult. Also.. so does this weird curb that separates the hotel parking lot from the shops next door. Also… the breakfast lady isn’t very friendly… she acts like she is annoyed even by her own existence!? 🤦♂️

BED WAS SO COMFORTABLE AND STAFF SO HELPFUL AS WELL! ALSO MY IN LAWS ANNIVERSARY WAS COMING UP JULY 9TH SO THEY TREATED AS A GIFTED ANNIVERSARY TRIP FROM MY HUSBAND AND I AS WELL AND WANT TO SAY THEY HAD A GREAT TIME TOO! LOVED THE KING SIZE BEDS! VERY QUIET AND LOVED BEING ABLE TO WATCH THE FIREWORKS FROM DIFFERENT DIRECTIONS FROM THE ROOM TOO!!! MY HUSBAND IS WANT TO COME BACK TO SPEND SOME MORE TIME WITH HIS SISTERS AND WERE DEFINITELY BE BACK!!! EXCELLENT AND EXCELLENT SERVICE AND FRIENDLY STAFF TOO! MY IN LAWS LOVED THE POOL TOO! Considering that this is a well-known and not inexpensive hotel chain, I expected a much higher level of professionalism and courtesy. In other cities and states, I have consistently had excellent experiences with this same brand, thanks to the kindness and quality of service provided by their staff. Unfortunately, my experience at the Nicholasville, Kentucky location was completely different. The staff was unfriendly and unwelcoming, making my stay a very unpleasant experience.
